Weddington

UNC-Greensboro commit [player_tooltip player_id='2280113' first='KJ' last='Younger'] is due for a big senior campaign as he continues to show his development as the No. 6 prospect in the current 2025 rankings. He's a matchup nightmare at 6-foot-5 with quite the combination of strength and length which allows him to play virtually any position on the floor. He put up 22.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game as a junior as the Warriors went 8-0 in the Southern Carolina Conference and finished 27-2 on the year. They should make a deep run in the NCHSAA State Playoffs once again behind Younger's leadership and good coaching on the sidelines.

Marvin Ridge

Marvin Ridge finished 5-3 in league action this past season and return with an improved cast. 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2175566' first='Brady' last='Dunn'] leads the charge for Marvin Ridge and head coach Pat McCarthy. Dunn put up 10.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game in 2023-24 and returns after a productive grassroots season looking to showcase more of what he can do shooting the ball and making things happen for others in the open court. 2026 forward [player_tooltip player_id='2635488' first='Henry' last='Smith'] is another prospect to keep an eye on with this group. His continued development as a versatile piece will be key to the Mavericks' success in 2024-25.

Sun Valley

Sun Valley finished 4-4 in the conference this past season and returns some young prospects looking to make a splash. [player_tooltip player_id='2446804' first='Kaleel' last='Benjamin'] is the feature name to get to know with this group as he's due to explode given his athleticism and versatility on the floor. He posted 11.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.1 steals per game for the Spartans this past season and was a productive piece in [program_tooltip program_id='2446758' first='Team' last='CP3 Academy']'s run to the EYCL Championship this past summer. He's a 2026 with a bright future in the Southern Carolina Conference. 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2635498' first='Jaylin' last='Powell'] is another one to keep an eye on. He's a 6-foot prospect who's shown he can operate inside and out at times. He averaged 3.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game and ranked 16th in the conference in 3-pointers made (14), according to MaxPreps.
