One of the things I'm most encouraged and excited about with the 2028 class is the early presence of post players. I've been able to see them play and excel as well as evaluate. It's a talented and diverse group in terms of style of play and skills. Nonetheless its a great start for a position that struggles to see the size needed to translate to the next level, however the need for bigs at the next level has never diminished.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632413' first='Carson' last='Christian'] could be the name on this list possibly the least known, however that won't be for long. Christian is a strong and super-athletic dual sport athlete who happens to play hoops in the winter. Already getting varsity reps in football as a freshman, most agree he'll see significant minutes in varsity basketball for the Knights and that's quite a prediction given the talented roster that Cabell Midland has. We've already heard of his posterizing dunks and ability to run the floor and finish.

[player_tooltip player_id='2501258' first='Joseph' last='Fenstermacher'] who we saw at an event in June really blew us away with his fundamental and effective play in every game. So much so, I had to hunt down his parents and let them know how much I appreciated his efficiency with and without the ball. A true post player who understands his role and doesn't have to have the ball in his hands to be effective. But with the ball he's a capable scorer and more dangerously accurate passer out of the high or low post.

[player_tooltip player_id='2395977' first='Noah' last='Hood'] has one of the softest and smoothest jumpers for a big man this young I've seen in awhile. Very effective in the post with the ball, but more effective when stepping out to shoot a 10-12 foot jumper that he rarely misses. Tighten up on him when he faces up, he hits cutters with precision and accuracy. A 6'5" frame that gives him a true inside/outside game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2439914' first='Arlo' last='Colistra'] runs the floor, hits big shots, handles the ball as well as strokes it from deep. We've seen a very multi-dimensional game from Arlo that looks to possibly trend to more of a wing skill-set, but for now he'll be tasked with playing primarily from the post, which he does a great job of.

[player_tooltip player_id='2395976' first='Cam' last='Strode'] is a physical rebounding forward and enforcer on defense. Strode is maybe the player in this group who's most comfortable with his back to the basket. An excellent passer from anywhere on the court, especially the high and low post.

[player_tooltip player_id='2439913' first='Blaze' last='Colistra'] like his twin brother, Blaze has a dynamic skill-set and one that sees some expansion every time we see them. Blaze does a great job with catch and shoot situations, puts the ball on the floor effectively as well as play from the post and paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425397' first='Keelan' last='Remy'] is a strong and physical bodied forward who gets to the bucket well on one or two dribbles, has a great touch from 12 feet and in as well as finish efficiently around the bucket. Remy doens't play like a 15 year old which is why we'd expect to see him in the varsity rotation very early this year given his size.
