2028 NorCal Watch List by Position F/C

As we approach the beginning of the high school season we've seen a number 2028 prospects this Spring and Summer who played in their own age group. They'll most likely play varsity. A couple will start, others will be contributors off the bench. There's just a handful of those prospects. We simply don't have enough information at this time to give a fair ranking of this class. We'll break down prospects by position. There are many on this list who will emerge during the season and give us a better idea of their ranking.    The first thing we noticed is how Parker runs up, and down the court, good form, long strides, good speed, he tends to stay in the middle of the court looking to get a put back rebound, or receive a pass for a paint shot. Standing 6'7 he has some touch around the rim. He'll work for rebounds, and use his length to be a distraction. He'll get stronger, improve his footwork. He made the Top 60 game at Pangos All-West Frosh Camp.     Long wiry played with good energy off the bench, the one time we saw him at Cali-Live. He was a little off balance but did regained his footing to go after rebounds. He has lateral movement, goes after rebounds, and runs the court. He's developing his skill set, but can use a dribble or two working the baseline and high post area. He's a target slashing across the lane.     We'll have to see more of the raw Freshman. He has size and length, he looks strong, he runs the courts, active inside going after rebounds, and some paint presence while defending. He powered up off two feet in the paint. He gives good effort.     He's long wiry plays mostly around the paint, working side to side. He'll get his points in the paint, but does have to improve his strength, and post foot work. He'll use his length to get offensive rebounds for put back points. He did distract shooters in the paint. We'll have to see more       He's got a real shot at being a key contributor right away in the tough WCAL. He showed he could do some things out on the perimeter, took his open shots, makes cuts to the basket, he had good passing. He'll post up using size and foot work to get a bucket, come across looking to hit the paint jumper or use a dribble for a power move. He'll add depth to defending in the post.
