Over the weekend The EXPO: Illinois took place featuring a ton of ranked prospects and sleepers that emerged from the 2025 and 2026 classes. Here we examine the prospects that made an impression in Team 1 Standout Performers!

[player_tooltip player_id='2617385' first='Drew' last='Lundberg'] (West Aurora – 2026)

Lundberg is a two guard from West Aurora that impressed us over the spring/summer with 88 West and did more of the same at the EXPO. He is a 6'4” wing that can really shoot the basketball. He has a clean release and consistent mechanics along with plus positional size. One of the better pure catch and shoot guys in the 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617405' first='Joey' last='Hernandez'] (Hoffman Estates – 2025)

Hernandez had a very nice showing at the EXPO. Quick and shifty 5'10” point guard that used his handles to create getting in the lane. Also nice hesitation keeping the defense off balance on his drives. Often got to the rim or was fouled on scoring attempts. Crisp jump shooter that can make shots off the bounce from three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617372' first='Connor' last='Fitzgerald'] (York – 2025)

Fitzgerald is a 6'0” two guard that bring good strength and a solid overall skill set to the table. Got out in transition on multiple occasions including using his active hands on the defensive end to get steals. Displayed nifty finishing round the hoop and also hit the offensive glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617386' first='Dustyn' last='Collins'] (Centralia – 2025)

Collins won MVP of the camp with a dominant performance. The 6'6” big man from the 618 earned the respect of top players from Chicago right from the jump with his play. His athleticism really stands out especially in and up and down setting. Runs the floor with a motor, throws down dunks, and swat shots. More than just a plus athlete as the power forward regularly stretched the floor with his perimeter shot making knocking down threes and crisp pull ups. Loved the motor that he played with on the glass both offensively and defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617434' first='Myair' last='Thompson'] (Kankakee – 2026)

Thompson is a point guard that brings such a smoothness to his game along with his acrobatics finishing at the rim. Quick off the bounce getting in the lane for an array of soft touch finishes. Crisp pull up game which included draining the game winner in sudden death overtime. Also loved the intensity he brought on the defensive end as an in your face defender in a camp setting.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617459' first='Tyshawn' last='Miller'] (Multicultral Arts School – 2025)

Miller is a 5'11” lead guard who is super slick with the rock in his hands. He has some explosive athleticism to his game as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617370' first='Cole' last='Czako'] (Bishop McNamara – 2025)

Bishop McNamara 5'11” point guard is a scrappy defender that has a solid looking jump shot. Made plays as a scorer in the open floor and has potential as a shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617406' first='Joseph' last='Barnes'] (Mt. Carmel – 2026)

Barnes is a strong bodied 6'2” two guard that that is explosive in the open floor. He is at his best getting downhill where he can score with euro steps, reverse layups, and running the floor hard.
