One Thought Per Team

Waseca. The favorite and with good reason, the Russell brothers are two of the best players back in the league and they have other starters returning as well. They are the team to beat.

Belle Plaine. Belle Plaine won 21 games last season and they have likely the best player in the section in [player_tooltip player_id='2118474' first='Ethan' last='Martin'], and they really only lost one main contributor.

Glencoe-Silver Lake. The Panthers have four of their top seven guys back and two really good young players.

Maple River. I don't want to push things too much here just because they have been such a successful program but they were .500 last year and return two really, really good players. They can be a 20 win team.

Norwood Young America. NYA was 11-16 last season but they have a lot of key guys back including a post in Fenney that could have an amazing season.

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown. WEM has two of the best players back in the section and in the league coming back from a good team. If they progress, this could be a really good team.

Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton. The team had all five starters get All conference, two of them are back and this is a team with a lot of guard depth.

LCWM. This is an interesting dynamic. LCWM is a good team and a good program, and they have talent, but they also lost all of their starters. So its tough to know how all of this new talent will compete, but they will surely be good next year, maybe a year earlier than expected?

Le Sueur-Henderson. Good size on this team, if they can replace last year's guard play they could win 16 games again.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran. MVL lost just about everything from last year's team. They won 22 games a year ago but there will be a new team on the floor this season.

Blue Earth Area. They have their best player returning but lost a couple starters. Should be competitive again, and they have some young size too.

St. Clair. A 13-14 team that lost three of it's best four players from a season ago.

Tri City United. A ten win team that lost its best players from a year ago.

Sibley East. Sibley East is starting over with a new coach after a five win season.

NRHEG. A three win team a season ago that will work to improve this year with a hard working group.

Medford. Medford only played a dozen games last season.

Waseca went to state last year and they return a healthy portion of their team from last year. They are the favorites but Belle Plaine is on their heels.
