There was an array of talent on display this past weekend in Lewisville. Among the skilled players was a group of young men that seem to make buckets at will. These student athletes below can get you a basket any time, any place.

Chandler is a calm, collected point guard that can get a streak going from beyond the arc incredibly quickly. If you give him any amount of space, he'll recognize and take advantage with his pullup and quick release. He's composed of pure hustle - I never saw him hanging his head or taking a play off. He's a force to reckon with on the glass on both ends of the floor and he's great at quickly finding his cutters and delivering pretty dishes their way with pinpoint accuracy. Cornell is reliable when he gets in a jam - never panics, thinks through it, works his way out of it one step at a time with his elite ballhandling skills. He's a gritty player - at one point going down in one of his games and having to come out momentarily, only to work his way back in a few plays later, more ready to go than ever. Red Oak got a great one in Cornell and I can't wait to see him get even better.

Daunte is a skilled lefty combo guard that can absolutely light it up from the three-point line. He's able to get decent space regularly because he's talented in many areas - solid, nearly unblock-able fade away, nice ability to create his own shot off the dribble, moves well without the ball and knows how to get to his spots, and quickness that allows him to breeze by his defender if they decide to play him too close. Brown's got a quick release and he's a confident shooter - he does not hesitate if he has even just a slight opening (which is a good thing in his case). Another thing I love about his game is his defense - you can tell he takes pride in locking down his man and he's nearly impossible to get around. Brown's going to make a ton of noise for his high school squad this season and I'm excited to see it.

Jaden is a speedy, smart combo guard that can get hot from three and stay that way for his squad. He handles the ball impressively well and he knows how to set his teammates up for success. He uses his elite handle to fiercely drive and attract the double-team, knowing all along he's going to toss it to his teammate for a wide open shot from the corner. He's got nice form on his jumper and he gets solid rotation on the ball. Scales is smooth under pressure - never panicking in high stress situations, always cleverly working his way out of them. He's also an excellent passer, regularly anticipating his teammate's next steps in order to deliver a laser-like pass right into their hands as they sprint toward the basket. Jaden's going to turn a ton of heads this season and it's going to be fun to watch.

Bradyn is a strong, physical forward that can hang with the guards and knock it down from beyond the arc consistently. He's positive momentum in a bottle with the way he hustles on every play down the floor. He can take it coast to coast and score on on his own or he can use his excellent passing ability and quickly identify which teammate has the best look. Alward's a talented defender as well - regularly anticipating his opponent's next move and picking passing lanes for easy buckets on the other end. He's a fantastic trailer and finisher on the break and he always seems to be around the ball - involved on every play. Byron's going to be a sight to see this season and one you don't want to miss.

Adeyinka is a long, skilled combo guard that can spark fire from three and go on streaks multiple times a game. He gets a nice elevation on his shot and can easily get his looks off over the best of defenders. He uses his impressive length on the defensive side of the ball as well - regularly swatting his opponents' shots and altering their decent attempts into bad ones. He's a beast on the glass and consistently gets his team second and even third shot attempts. Adeyinka has a pretty jumper with nice form and a rapid rotation on the ball - every single time. He's a pleasure to watch play and more and more folks will realize that as he makes a bunch of noise in his senior campaign.
