Daunte is a skilled lefty combo guard that can absolutely light it up from the three-point line. He’s able to get decent space regularly because he’s talented in many areas – solid, nearly unblock-able fade away, nice ability to create his own shot off the dribble, moves well without the ball and knows how to get to his spots, and quickness that allows him to breeze by his defender if they decide to play him too close. Brown’s got a quick release and he’s a confident shooter – he does not hesitate if he has even just a slight opening (which is a good thing in his case). Another thing I love about his game is his defense – you can tell he takes pride in locking down his man and he’s nearly impossible to get around. Brown’s going to make a ton of noise for his high school squad this season and I’m excited to see it.
