This week marks the culmination of weeks of hard work, teamwork, and skill development, as teams vie for top honors in a highly competitive environment. A few teams were absent due to fall break. Others were returning from fall break with back-to-back games. I had the privilege to see under-the-radar talent shine in the last week.

Mark showcased his incredible shooting ability with a thrilling 66-56 victory, nailing crucial three-pointers while consistently positioning himself for finishes around the basket. He truly came alive in the second half of the tournament, becoming a formidable force in an already potent scoring offense. His energy and skill on the court are undeniable.
Christopher Park Christopher Park 5'11" Mount Paran Christian | 2025 State GA is an absolute standout! In the nail-biting game against Cartersville, where Mount Paran clinched a thrilling 56-59 victory, Park shone as a true point guard. His relentless energy keeps him on top of the ball, both offensively and defensively, showcasing his exceptional court awareness. He consistently makes smart defensive plays, always seeking out the best shot opportunities for his team.

As a three-level scorer, Taylor possesses a remarkable ability to exploit gaps in the defense, adeptly creating opportunities during moments of defensive recovery. His impressive footwork not only facilitates a readiness to shoot but also enhances his improvisational skills when faced with challenges. As a two-time All-Region guard, Taylor’s contributions are pivotal to his team’s success, showcasing both skill and strategic acumen.
