Preseason Player of the Year: 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1874770' first='Brody' last='Muenchrath'] (Westwood)

Scoring isn't everything, but Muehchrath is the top returning scorer in the league by nearly 10 points per game and will be the focal point of a Westwood team that will among the top contenders in the conference this season. Pretty easy selection.

First Team

2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1874770' first='Brody' last='Muenchrath'] (Westwood): 25.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 3.5 steals, 1.0 blocks

Muenchrath is a big-time scorer who can fill it up in a hurry from all three levels, but he also impacts the game in a number of other ways, creating for his teammates and defending at a high level.

2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2381205' first='Brysen' last='Kolar'] (OABCIG): 14.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 3.1 steals, 50.0 FG%

Kolar led the Falcons in scoring, assists, and steals as a junior and should be the focal point of the team's attack again as a senior. He's an efficient, athletic guard who loves to attack the rim.

2026 Landon Howe (Kingsley-Pierson): 13.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.0 steals

A guard who can score inside and out as well as create quality looks for his teammates, Howe is the top returnee for a Panthers team that could be one of the chief challengers in the league this season.

2026 Joe DeStigter (Woodbury Central): 12.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists

DeStigter could put up big-time numbers for the Wildcats if he's able to improve his efficiency a bit. He led the team in scoring as a sophomore and also flashed some secondary playmaking.

2027 Jaxx Dejean (OABCIG): 7.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 steals

Like older brother Cooper, Dejean is an explosive athlete who loves to pound the glass on both ends of the floor, using his tremendous leaping ability to sky above other players on the court and snatch rebounds out of nowhere. He should have a big sophomore year.
