However, he did show his ability to score at multiple levels as well as show a tenacity in attacking off the bounce. He had some eye-catching moments and proved to be a player whose journey I should keep an eye on.

I must admit, Jake was a player who I struggled with keeping off the all-showcase team. I had several scenarios where he was included. With that being said, it goes without saying that he had a very impressive day on the court. He had his bag wide open and had all the tools on display. He plays with incredible efficiency, scores from all levels, and has quick decision-making ability. He sees the floor exceptionally well while driving to score, and his court awareness is what you expect from an experienced lead guard getting ready for his final season. His stock rose with his play throughout the day, and I am looking forward to seeing his level of production this season.

He was active on the glass, ran the floor hard, and was physical on the defensive end of the floor. He needs to continue refining his skill set, but his motor, toughness, and physical play make him a difficult matchup for opponents on both ends of the floor.

Jackson has good positional size for what he will face most of the time in Alabama. He has good length and was a really good scorer around the rim. He was active on the glass as he rebounded at a high rate, and a lot of his activity was due to the advantage he had with his length. Getting in the gym and working on his explosiveness will serve him well, as he is not very explosive when going up to score. Expanding his game outside of the paint is another area for Jackson to work on.

Braylen is a lead guard who showed a really good balance between facilitating and scoring. He was productive at both, as he showed his ability to make plays in both areas off the bounce. He was tough to defend in iso situations, an area in which he kept defenders on their heels. He still showed some youthful mistakes with some decisions he made with the rock, but they did not overshadow his overall production for the day. I would still encourage him to be more cognitive of taking care of the ball as he will probably be the initiator of the offense for his squad this upcoming year.

Caleb is a small lead guard but was high energy off the dribble and was constantly putting pressure on the rim not to score but to collapse the defense and then spray to open shooters. He has really good vision and is capable of making high-end passes. He gets in trouble at times because he does not decelerate well, and often is in one speed, leading to turnovers and poor shot selection. I am sure that as he continues his journey, he will mature in these areas and be a lead guard his coaches can trust and put the keys to the team in his hands.

He is able to put the ball on the floor and slash his way to the paint, but he has to get a tighter handle, as he is loose with the ball at times. He has all the physical measurables, along with a good feel and understanding of the game. He plays like a point-forward and can control the game with his scoring and his ability to orchestrate. He doesn't need much time or space to get his shot off and he has the ability to make life for his teammates easy with the threat of his ability to score at any moment. With what I saw in his game and what he could become, he left me wanting more, but I will definitely be watching him this season.
