PH NE Expo: Jeremy's Notebook (Part 2)

Throughout the event on Sunday, I had the opportunity to sit down and take notes on each participate that was in attendance. This form of notes is just a quicker version of a detailed summary, explaining what is happening on the floor in front of me at that given time. "Edwards is a crafty play-making guard, that understands his role within his team and what he does best in that said role. You can tell from the small sample size I had that this is someone who is comfortable leading his offense as a guard. He has the ability to either create for others off of the dribble or score himself, while being a pesty defender. Not to mention, he isn't afraid to be vocal and let the others around him know about a situation or what's unfolding around them in real time."     "Creighton Prep has some real ballers coming into their program this season and one of them is PG - [player_tooltip player_id='2617618' first='Kevin' last='Lott']. Lott comes in as a Freshman at 5'10, he has some respectable guard abilities, and he seems to have a smart head on his shoulders while competing. There is a lot to like about Lott from an outside perspective. He is someone that I would consider a positive influence to those around him and he isn't really ever going to hurt you with unneeded mistakes.     "Natural size. Lengthy movement. The ability to recover. These are just some ways to describe [player_tooltip player_id='2617613' first='Jaxon' last='Adams'] and what he brings to the hardwood as a Basketball prospect. Adams comes in at 6'4, he has an act for protecting the paint for his squads, and he is most definitely someone that opposing players need to worry about as he gets into the paint. From the looks of it, Adams doesn't have a ton of collegiate interest but I would be shocked if he had none at all. His size and skill support that he could play in some facet at the next level. It just depends where."     "To become good at anything in life, you have to be a hard worker and [player_tooltip player_id='2617624' first='Shareef' last='Omar'] of Millard North is a hard worker on both sides of the floor, never taking off a play or possession. Omar is going to have a chance to be a solid prospect by the end of his high school career if he continues to work on his craft. He has some solid fundamentals, quality coordination, and better than average balance for his speed. All in all, he has a solid base and he seems motivated. Two things that usually lead to a lot of success on the hardwood in the long run."     "Another noteworthy individual from the Millard North Mustangs program to know about moving into her Sophomore season is [player_tooltip player_id='2617615' first='JC' last='Pieper']. Pieper is a fast acting guard with great body control while attacking the rim. More times than not, Pieper is doing whatever he can for his team to find success. That could count as Rebounding, Scoring, Assisting, or Defending. This is definitely someone that has glimpses of some really solid skill, he just needs to play to his strengths and be put in the correct system as a whole. Something that is do-able at this point in the process."
