He's a top notch athlete that's a multi level scorer. Word had a jumper that needed to be respected, but he also finished above the rim. He's a physically strong player that can attack with his strength, but also has the ability to be a threat with a 2 dribble physical drive. He's a multi level scorer with intriguing positional height and frame. His overall athleticism definitely stood out. What was really impressive was the way he used that athleticism. He was quick with the ball in his hands and showed the ability to be explosive off the bounce. He has great length and positional height. Newberry is an able and confident shooter. He showcased his skills for scouts and and made a lot of people very aware of his game. He was both fast and quick with the ball and an on target passer with a good game IQ. Spencer showed that he could both bury a jumper from outside as well as finish at the rim. He plays a smart game and is a solid passer, even on the move. Basler was patient offensively and was willing to work for good looks.
