707 Premier HS Elite Camp

PH NorCal spent Saturday at Napa Valley College for the 707 Premier HS Elite Camp. 707 Premier is a growing Grassroots Organization that covers the Northwest parts of California. The players are from Benicia, Fairfield, Santa Rosa, Vallejo and other surrounding areas, it's part of NorCal. The camp had approximately 53 high school players, 8 teams, 3 games. There were station drills before the games. There were local college coaches in attendance.    He's been a consistent guard in NorCal for a while now. He's a bucket getter. His speed along with athleticism makes him hard to guard. He'll beat you off the dribble with his slick, and quick handles, challenge you at the rim with his hops. He'll drop a dime on you from mid-range, and hit rhythm 3's. He played against quality competition in the Spring and Summer on UA Circuit.     Moore has sharpened his skill set, toned his body. He's playing with strength and balance as he uses his dribble, and body to get into the paint, initiate, and handle contact for points. He's handling along the perimeter, and up top at times, looking to make passes, hit from 3 or from mid-range off the dribble.     A crafty point guard, makes quick decisions, fast in transition, with excellent court vision, and ball skills. He can run the offense up top, create opportunities himself, and makes it a point to involve others. He has the speed to beat you off the dribble, he can stop on the dime for mid-range jumpers, and he'll hit the open 3. He has the foot speed to stay on ball handlers.     He's a physical prospect, can be effective at multiple positions on the court. He has the body and strength to post up at this level, he finishes around the rim. He had strong drives using his dribble from the perimeter to get to the basket. He had strong finishes in transition. He rebounds, can handle in transition.     He's a combo guard we'll have to keep an eye on. He has quality handles, speed, and a solid body for strong takes to the basket along the perimeter, and in transition. He's a willing passer who can run point, with good passing around the perimeter. He has strength and lateral movement to defend multiple positions.     He catches our eye whenever we're in the gym. He's got good hops, he's an effective scorer in the paint. He's a court runner, who'll finish with dunks. His improving handles allows for a couple of dribbles to get closer to the basket from the perimeter, he's putting up open 3's. He's an excellent rebounder, he'll block and change some shots.     North Tahoe is a part of NorCal. The only time we see Cormac is when he comes to an event like this. He's a quality prospect with the skill set to produce buckets in different ways. He has plenty of hops to get points, and rebounds around the basket, a paint jumper, finish with either hand around the rim, dunks. He plays with good energy running the court, defending his position.
