The time has finally come as we have updated our senior class rankings in Virginia! The new rankings feature close to 40 new players, ranking 173 players in the state.

We'll take a look at some positional breakdowns in the rankings, looking at the guards, wings and forwards rankings. Here's part two of the forwards, ranking the top power forwards and centers in the class.

15) [player_tooltip player_id='2451946' first='Tyrell' last='Beverly'] | 6'7” PF | Norcom (#55 Overall)

Beverly was a big stock riser this summer playing for Team Push on the 3SSB Circuit, and he's emerged as one of the top available players who could even be a D1 prospect if he decided to go the post grad route. The 6'7” forward may be slightly undersized but he's an explosive athlete who can play above the rim and protects it defensively, he plays with great energy on both ends and he shows flashes of being able to transition to the perimeter with some development.

14) Stephen Kourassi | 6'8” PF | Oak Hill Red (#54 Overall)

Kourassi is part of that Oak Hill Red team I've been mentioning that has tons of under the radar talent for college coaches to check out, and he had a great junior season and has long term potential with his versatility and athleticism at his size. He is a big time rim protector who can has great timing as a shot blocker, he's a lob threat and a very good finisher in the paint and he can stretch the floor with his shooting ability was well.

13) [player_tooltip player_id='2242371' first='Josh' last='Hamilton'] | 6'8” PF | Highland School (#53 Overall)

Hamilton had some unfortunate injuries this summer which didn't help his stock, but he's back healthy now and he's an underrated prospect who impacts the game without needing the ball in his hands very much. He thrives on the defensive end as a rim protector and a mobile big who can switch onto wings and stay in front, he's a blue collar and gritty guy who does the dirty work and he's a strong and athletic finisher and rebounder too.

12) [player_tooltip player_id='1956068' first='Jeremiah' last='Morris'] | 6'8” C | King's Fork (#46 Overall)

Morris had a great summer running with VA Havoc and he's made tons of strides over the last few years getting his body right and developing his game to where he's one of the more intriguing long term guys in the 757. He dropped a ton of baby fat over the past few years and has filled it out with muscle allowing him to be extremely physical in the paint, he's great in face ups with his quick first step to get to that contact and he's now a much more explosive finisher and rim runner as well.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='2146762' first='Jacob' last='Moore'] | 6'8” PF | Paul VI (#39 Overall)

Moore is one of those players that just gets overshadowed since he has played on one of the top teams in the country the past few years, including last year's national runner up that sent a starting five to high major schools, but if he was anywhere else he'd be one of the best players in the state. The 6'8” forward is a late bloomer who has great ball skills and passing ability for his size, he is an athletic finisher above the rim, he can guard multiple positions and he still has a lot of room to get better moving forward.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='1494114' first='David' last='Miller'] | 6'7” PF | Green Run (#38 Overall)

Miller has been a star at Green Run from the moment he stepped foot in the school four years ago, and has been one of the most consistent and productive players in the Beach District during that time. The 6'7” forward is a man among boys in the paint with his physicality and ability to clear out space, he's an underrated athlete who can play above the rim, he can step out and make shots on the perimeter and while he's a quiet kid he's a competitor on both ends of the floor.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='2340875' first='Colin' last='Pollock'] | 6'8” C | St. Stephen's St. Agnes (#37 Overall)

Pollock has seen a rise in his game and his recruitment over the past few years since the start of his junior year, and after great play with AKT and SSSAS this summer he was able to earn an offer and commit to Navy. He's a unique player in that his size and movements look like a traditional center but he has great ball skills on the perimeter, he makes shots at a very high clip from deep and he can actually run the offense with his ability to handle it and make passes out there.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='1494118' first='Wyatt' last='Norton'] | 6'8” C | Bishop O'Connell (#31 Overall)

Norton has dealt with many injury woes over the past few years, which is unfortunate because he was really coming into his own as one of the top bigs in the DMV going into his junior year, but now that he's healthy he could have a very good senior season for a loaded O'Connell team. At 6'8” Norton is mobile as a rim runner and athletic as a finisher above the rim, he's a very good shooter from deep who can stretch the floor and he has a mean streak to the way he plays too.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='2451923' first='Quentin' last='Morgan'] | 6'9” C | Deep Run (#30 Overall)

Morgan is perhaps the most improved player as a late bloomer over the past year or so, earning him some D1 offers and setting him up to have a huge senior season for Deep Run this year. He's finally grown into his body and it seems over night his coordination and timing improved immensely, he plays with a great motor and runs the floor hard, he is a big time athlete who can play above the rim and protect the rim and he has improved his touch immensely in the midrange area.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='1494104' first='Martez' last='Harris'] | 6'10” C | Catholic (#25 Overall)

Harris transfers back to the 757 after leaving Cape Henry for Oak Hill last year, and so far what he's shown this fall he looks like one of the best available players you will come across in VA. He has always been very talented but seemed to have trouble figuring out his niche, and he looked much more confident as a true five than I have seen him since his growth spurt following his freshman season. He is highly skilled with good touch around the rim with both hands, he's running the floor hard to get easy looks in transition, he's learned how to use his strength and length to finish through contact and looks much more engaged on the defensive end too.
