The wait for our updated 2025 rankings, and there have been quite a few changes! With us adding close to 40 new names to the list, there weren't quite as many risers as we have in some of the other groups, but there were some that have been too good over the summer and fall not to move up.

Here's a look at the 7 biggest risers in the updated senior rankings.

Previous Rank: #15

Current Rank: #13

With so many new names added to the rankings, Henderson is the only player in the top 15 to move up as he moves to 13 and if it weren't for all those new names he'd be a top 10 kid in the update. The Fordham commit is a two time state champion and Class 1 Player of the Year at Lancaster the past two years, and after a huge summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2226307' first='Team' last='Loaded VA'] he moves to John Marshall where his ability to score it off the bounce, run the show and guard the other team's best guard will come in handy with the national schedule they are playing this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2451946' first='Tyrell' last='Beverly'] | 6'6” PF | Norcom

Previous Rank: #64

Current Rank: #55

Beverly had a big summer on the 3SSB Circuit with Team Push, and is one of the more intriguing long term prospects in the 757 in this class and if he chose to use a prep year would likely see division one schools come his way. The 6'6” forward is a ball of energy as he uses his length and athleticism to swat shots regularly coming help side, he can guard multiple positions with his lateral quickness, he is an athletic and strong finisher through contact and has shown flashes of being able to work on the perimeter too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242389' first='Will' last='Hopkins'] | 6'3” SG | John Marshall

Previous Rank: #109

Current Rank: #58

Hopkins makes the biggest jump in the rankings after a big summer of growth, and he transfers from Hanover to John Marshall this year where he'll thrive as the glue guy with his blend of athleticism, skill and blue collar mentality. The 6'3” off guard can drill shots from deep off the catch, he can attack off the bounce and is a good finisher through contact, he can make plays for others and he is a good on ball defender as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548302' first='Jaylen' last='Dyer'] | 6'4” CG | Miller School

Previous Rank: #89

Current Rank: #75

Dyer moves up the rankings after showing a lot of growth over the past few years at Miller, and as a big guard he has a lot of intrigue moving forward as a collegiate prospect. At 6'4” he has a strong frame and isn't afraid to be physical on both ends, he's a good shooter off the bounce and off the catch, he has a good IQ and is an unselfish playmaker and he consistently makes the right plays for his team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242418' first='Jack' last='Lloyd'] | 6'4” SF | Flint Hill

Previous Rank: #100

Current Rank: #78

Lloyd is coming off a big summer with Flint Hill and AKT where he put himself firmly in the conversation of best shooters in the DMV, and at 6'4” he has the size to be able to play at the next level too. He's a dead eye shooter from deep with range and a quick release, he relocates well off the ball to get open and he brings some toughness to his team on the defensive end as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2452107' first='Knox' last='Axselle'] | 6'4” SG | Atlee

Previous Rank: #104

Current Rank: #82

Axselle had a good summer with a talented Team Richmond team, and at his latest event with his high school team the CBG Fall Series he was absolutely fantastic showing why almost every D3 school in the area wants him. The 6'4” wing is a strong and athletic player who can make plays defensively and finish at the rim, he's a dead eye shooter from deep with deep range and he can fill it up in bunches when he gets it going.

[player_tooltip player_id='2451966' first='Cole' last='Hoffman'] | 6'8” C | Manchester

Previous Rank: #98

Current Rank: #89

Hoffman was another impressive player for Team Richmond this summer, improving throughout the season and showing he's one of the top bigs in the Richmond area this year. At 6'8” he's a load in the paint who can finish over both shoulders with good post moves, he can wall up and challenge shots without fouling at the rim, he converts well from the free throw line and will only continue to get better moving forward.
