We are getting more and more excited for the season to start and here are some Duo.s in 6A we look forward to watching.

[player_tooltip player_id='1278442' first='Carlo' last='Mulford'] & [player_tooltip player_id='1369726' first='Cale' last='Barclay'] || Herriman High School ||

Many people across the state have Herriman at the top when it comes to teams to beat and this duo might be a big reason why. Mulford quickly made a name for himself at the high school level proving he could play right away and that he could be a facilitator and scorer all at once. That quick first step and ability to stop on a dime and score at all three levels of the floor has really popped when it comes to skills you see from him. He is string and changes speeds which makes him a tough player to defend.

Barclay on the other hand has really transformed over the years and he is now one of the best PF in the state as he has picked up interest from solid D2 schools as well as top notch D1 JUCO's. He is still a player that can spread the floor with shooting and he has been really good over the years at using that short corner to his advantage. He knows when to stay in the dunkers spot and he knows when to space out and spread the defense. His IQ and skill set is going to translate to the next level andthe school that are recruiting him have the right idea.

[player_tooltip player_id='1190620' first='Bryton' last='Valdes'] & [player_tooltip player_id='1190621' first='Noah' last='Bendinger'] || Corner Canyon High School ||

This duo has been at it for years and we have covered them since they were in elementary school. Valdes is a next level lead guard that is going to have the ball in his hands and you can always depend on him making the right decision. He plays bigger than he is as he attacks the rim and is crafty with his finishes. He shoots the ball well, so giving him too much space in the rotations can backfire. True PG that gets the ball to the right spots and he can also score.

Bendinger is one of those sharp shooters that is open a lot, even though you know he can shoot he is sneaky in the way he changes speeds and uses screens to get open and be catch ready. His recruiting is picking up as a shooter that has a few more inches on him and his ceiling athletically is still growing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1146663' first='Ike' last='Staley'] & [player_tooltip player_id='1316136' first='Jackson' last='Taylor'] || Lone Peak High School ||

This duo is a very unassuming bunch when they are out there on the floor as they play with their own pace. Taylor could be walking the ball up the floor and just pull from deep and hit. Staley is a kid that will roam all over the floor and get a drop-step dunk on you on any given play. Staley is a shooter with size and a PF build. Taylor has gotten quicker and should be attacking the rim more as teams run him of the three-point line. Booth of these players although similar as shooter have different games and they both have next level ability. Could be NAIA or D2 type prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'] & [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'] || American Fork High School ||

This is actually a fun duo we did not think we needed or expected for that matter. You. have an up and coming wing that is getting faster and stronger. Plays that hybrid SF/W role and that is likely what he could be at the next level. Clark has a high ceiling and he is just getting started. Mella is a Swiss Army Knife that for once in his high school career might actually play his true position as a SG/CG. Mella is a LM, D1 kid with a lot of growth in his game left. Look to see a new player this coming season and this makes AF tougher.
