In August, we updated the 2025 player rankings. In this feature, the second of the positional breakdown series, the focus is small forwards.
The senior class runs out 15 D2 (or higher) prospects at the small forward position alone! The Class of 2025 is the best collection of hoopers since 2018, when the group was Darius Garland, Alex Lomax, Tyler Harris, Mark Freeman, and friends. The depth is remarkable this year and thankfully very, very few players were poached by basketball factories in the Florida, Georgia, North Carolina world.

Hasani Jackson Hasani Jackson 6'3" | SF East Ridge | 2025 State TN is a player to watch. An explosive scorer for East Ridge, Hasani earned All-State honors averaging 21 ppg and 14 rpg last winter. He also plays football (OLB/WR).
Jonah Osborne Jonah Osborne 6'3" | SF Nolensville | 2025 State TN (Nolensville) is going to take on a much larger role, according to NHS Head Coach Drew Giudice. What that looks like for his stat line remains to be seen, as the Knights are deep at every position.
