If defenders collapsed to stop the dribble penetration, Anderson was comfortable dishing out quick dump-off passes to trailing teammates. His ability to survey the floor and always know where the help defense is coming from and how to exploit it set him apart from other guards. The moment he secured a steal or deflection, he immediately looked to turn defense into offense, pushing the ball in transition, leading to fast break opportunities for his teammates.
