Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We flexed those muscles on Sunday as we welcomed in 150+ of the best freshmen in the state for our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Then, we hosted our inaugural Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp which featured 110+ prospects including half of our Top 25 ranked players. It was an outstanding turnout and a great pool of talent for our first time introducing the event. Over the next week or so our team of scouts at Prep Hoops Indiana will evaluating every player in attendance at both events. For this one, we look at Team 5.

***As you can imagine, trying to cover 110+ prospects in a single event is a very daunting task. Also, there always end up being a couple of jersey number discrepancies, so if you attended the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp and DID NOT receive an evaluation, please reach out to Brandon Ramsey via email coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com or on Twitter @BRamseyKSR.***

Hayes first stood out on Sunday during 3-on-3 action where he made several very impressive plays. He consistently played off of two feet which helped him finish against size around the basket. On two occasions he finishes with crafty reverse layups as well. Then, in 5-on-5 play, his shooting ability shined as he knocked down a catch-and-shoot three. This McCutcheon High School product displayed some good overall skill level throughout the event.

Sandoval's hustle really stood out on both ends of the floor at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. The Fort Wayne South Side prospect was consistently a willing passer which was useful both in transition moving the ball ahead and in 5-on-5 play making the extra "one more" to an open shooter. One of several talented Fort Wayne area prospects that came down for our event.

Merrillville is a place that produces a lot of intriguing talent year-after-year. Cunningham, a 5'9" guard, came down to our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp and showed some things as a backcourt prospect. He has a tight handle, good court vision, and the ability to make open shots when playing off of the ball. Under-the-radar prospect that should continue to develop as he gets bigger and stronger.

We've had a chance to get eyes on Crim several times now. He came in from day one and led Morristown High School in scoring as a freshman. Then, he was a consistent standout at Prep Hoops Circuit events this summer with the [program_tooltip program_id='2144117' first='Midwest' last='Stars'] 2027 quad. Finally, at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp the sharpshooting guard knocked in several jump shots and sliced his way to the basket for some creative finishes. Crim has some legitimate scoring chops.

Another prospect who made a significant, immediate impact at the varsity level as a freshman, Lindemann brought his talents to the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp from Corydon Central High School. He is a high percentage shot-maker that proved to be one of the better scorers in the Class of 2027 within southern Indiana. This event is meant to serve as a launching off point into a prospects sophomore season and Lindemann certainly used it as such.

There is a good deal of young talent coming through the Bloomington North system right now and this 6'0" guard prospect is an under-the-radar name among the bunch. His ball handling ability stood out in both 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 play as he was able to create scoring opportunities for teammates off of the dribble. His positional length also made him disruptive on the defensive end of the floor.

The ability to get open and make plays without the ball in your hands is something that many young prospects struggle with. However, Garner's constant movement away from the ball and ability to read screening action proved very useful in a 5-on-5 setting. The South Putnam High School guard scored on a couple of back cuts and made a tough pull-up jump shot in the mid-range. He is a versatile offensive threat.

Bellamy was named a top performer at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp after yet another strong showing. The 6'3" North Central High School wing is always so productive no matter the setting. He had a good freshman season at the Class 4A level with the Panthers, was excellent throughout the summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2470527' first='Indy' last='Heat Red'], and now looks poised for a breakout sophomore season. The strong, left-handed scorer is excellent around the basket and a very difficult matchup for opponents.
