The Prep Hoops VA Freshman Expo took place at Rock It Sports in Richmond on Saturday, August 31, with rising freshmen from all over the state attending to compete and get their names out there.

It was a great day of competition with 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games played intensely throughout the day. Here's a look at part three of the many standouts from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194755' first='Ezra' last='Rich'] | 6'1” WF | Digital Pioneers Academy

Rich was one of a number of players who came down from DC to attend the Expo (including the next 2), and he was very impressive throughout the camp and showcased a lot of upside moving forward. He's already a good athlete who is still growing and will become more explosive when he grows into his body, he gets downhill well off the bounce and finishes well at the rim, he can make shots from deep and attacks closeouts well and he brings it on the defensive end as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2546863' first='Myron' last='Glymin'] | 6'1” WF | Archbishop Carroll

Glymin is coming into a Carroll team that is chock full of young talent, and as he continues to grow and develop he could be a force in the WCAC here in the near future. At 6'1” he already has a great frame that will continue to fill out and make him able to punish defenders when he gets downhill, he works well off the catch with rips and covers ground with his dribbles, he can score the ball from multiple levels and he brings great energy on both ends of the floor.

Kenneth Robinson III | 6'2” WG | Gonzaga

Robinson is another name to remember in the next few years in the WCAC, as he is a long and fluid athlete that will continue to grow and will be a problem on the wing with his skillset and athleticism. The 6'2” wing runs the floor like a gazelle and uses his length to rebound and challenge shots, he can make shots from multiple levels, he has good shift and change of speeds off the bounce and he is a very good finisher at the rim too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2546879' first='Pierson' last='Gray'] | 6'4” C | Benedictine

Gray is a player who caught my eye as someone to keep an eye on moving forward, as he is already a big kid who is likely still growing, and while he has an intriguing skillset it was his intangibles that really stood out. In a camp setting he was constantly talking on defense and encouraging his teammates, he showed good touch out to the elbows and should be able to extend his range and he played hard even when he wasn't touching the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548146' first='Sam' last='Nziengui'] | 5'11” PG | Tuscarora

Nziengui was impressive in a number of ways at the Expo, showing a lot of upside as a floor general as he showed a lot of tools you want to see in a lead guard. He's lightning quick with a great first step and good burst when he gets downhill, he makes plays for others and has good vision, he finishes well over bigger defenders and he really shines defensively with his ability to stay in front and his active hands in the passing lane.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548144' first='Talon' last='Graves'] | 5'11” WG | Hayfield

Graves is joining one of the most successful public school programs in NOVA over the past few years, and with his upside it isn't a stretch to believe that he's in a great spot to develop over the next few years. He's a long and athletic wing who like many are still growing but he seems like he has quite a bit of growing left, he is explosive both vertically and when he gets downhill, he can make shots in the midrange and from deep and he has tons of upside on the defensive end too.
