The Prep Hoops VA Expo took place at Rock It Sports in Richmond on Sunday, September 31, with players from all over the state ranging from seniors to sophomores attending to compete and get their names out there.

It was a great day of competition with 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games played intensely throughout the day. Here's a look at part two of the many 2026 standouts from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548292' first='Colin' last='Regan'] | 5'9” PG | Spotswood

Regan is part of one of the top backcourts in VA at Spotswood, and while he has two seniors he plays with he showed he'll find a way to fit in with his playmaking and shooting ability. The 5'9” guard is shifty off the bounce and knows when to push the tempo, he touches the paint and makes great decisions with the ball in his hands, he has a great middle game with floaters and pull-ups and he can burn the defense from deep if they leave him open.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489544' first='Alex' last='Blanchard'] | 6'0” PG | Douglas Freeman

Blanchard was fantastic throughout the event, as his team went undefeated and he was a big part as he's just a natural leader and a player who finds ways to make winning plays. While he isn't the biggest or the fastest he's able to change speeds and use his handle to get in the lane, he finishes well through contact and initiates a lot of contact, he can score it form multiple levels, he makes plays for others and he just exudes toughness on both ends of the floor.

Jayon Harris | 6'0” CG | Pasquotank County

Harris came up from North Carolina looking for some bump and exposure, and he was great in both the 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 runs using his energy and length to make plays across the board. Harris scored the ball well off the bounce getting downhill and finishing well, he showed range from deep off the catch, he made plays for others when he got in the lane and he really excelled on the defensive end as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2309973' first='Kobe' last='Morrison'] | 6'2” CG | GW Danville

Morrison will be a big addition to a new look GW Danville team after he was an All State selection at Tunstall last year, and he showed at the Expo that he can hoop with the best of them. A savvy lefty with great instincts on both ends, Morrison plays with great pace and changes speeds well with hesitations and long dribbles, he gets downhill and finishes well at the rim, he can knock down shots from multiple levels and he's a good athlete as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148679' first='Willie' last='Bennett'] | 6'1” WG | Fairfax Christian

Bennett is one of a number of new additions to the two time defending state champion Fairfax Christian school, and he showed he could be a big part of their team moving forward. Another lefty that can knock it down from deep with a quick release, Bennett is able to work on or off the ball to get open, he sets his feet quickly on the move, he is shifty off the bounce and finishes well at the rim and he makes plays on the defensive end too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2148730' first='Cooper' last='Konetschni'] | 6'4” WF | Mountain View

Konetschni put himself on the map at the Expo, showing he's one of a number of under the radar players in the Fredericksburg area to keep an eye on this season. At 6'4” he has prototypical size on the perimeter and uses his size well to finish through traffic, he shoots it well from deep off the catch, he's able to get to spots in the midrange and rise over defenders to make tough shots and he is a good rebounder as well.
