PH Texas Sophomore Showcase Team 4 Standouts

As a team, they played with heart, and compassion and displayed a lot of their skills and abilities. He was good at driving and kicking to the open man or dishing the ball in the paint. He also made a couple half court passes that were impressive. He played with a good pace and was a strong finisher at the basket. Used his quickness and speed to blow past defenders or lock down his opponent. He also used his vertical jump to soar for rebounds and for dunks. Had a pretty advanced skillset and he showed it with his ability to shoot the ball efficiently. He knew all the right defensive rotations and knew how to play good team basketball within the offense. He would set his teammates up with crafty passes or find gaps in the defense where he could drive in and score. Was good at ball faking as many times he got his defender in the air which he would then drive and open up the offense. One of the fastest players at the showcase was always threatening to go coast to coast to score or pass to the trailing man. He showed his shooting range knocking down a lot of threes including some deep ones. His handle made it hard for defenders to stay in front of him as he would go past them to score in the lane. He also used his handle to get defenders off-balanced so he could pull up for a jumper. Was a smart player offensively making the right passes and reads depending on what the defender was giving him. He'll make the extra pass and move around to open up the offense. Looked to spread out and run the court well on fast breaks. He had good hustle as he got some offensive rebounds and tap-outs to keep the possession alive.
