I rolled into Tampa on Monday morning to watch North Tampa Catholic Christian open gym runs. We'll break down the games of their top prospects and the day's standouts. I highly recommend catching them this season.

After spending his junior season at Sunrise Christian, Caleb Williams is back in Florida. The senior combo guard performed so well that the LSU coach in attendance asked about him. At 6'4, he plays at a veteran's pace and has an elite knack for scoring. Williams is a good athlete but doesn't need his speed to blow by you. He's a talented slasher who uses subtle changes of speed, head movements, and off-time finishes to score at the rim. He's strong enough to shed defenders on the drive. Williams didn't shoot many jumpers Monday but was extremely efficient from the mid-range and from three. Williams has the game and offers to play mid to high-major ball but may reclassify to the class of 2026.

If you're looking for a confident three-point shot maker, AJ Jones is your guy. I've seen highlights of him dropping four or five threes in a game, but in person, it's different. His release is lightning-quick and smooth. At 6'5, he gets the separation to shoot over defenders. Jones has range beyond the college three point line. His shooting forces defenses to close out hard, and he can attack them for drives. Not a stellar athlete but has a track record of being a solid rebounder and the speed to be a dangerous off-movement shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2134674' first='Archie' last='McFadden'] is gaining the confidence to take a step as a scorer while being one of the state's best playmakers. He's a high-IQ lead guard with giant hands and a long wingspan. Mid major programs across the southeast are showing interest in the 6'1 point guard. He can trap defenders out of pick and rolls and punish them with his passing and paint scoring. McFadden seems to be a much-improved shooter, especially when he's off the ball. He has blow-by speed, passing vision, and the defensive tools to be a college player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1658584' first='Toni' last='Bryant'] has evolved into a top flight 2026 prospect with the chance to make this game a career. The 6'9 forward can protect the rim, comfortably slides his feet to perimeter players, and has the motor to produce on the defensive end. Offensively, he's grown as a ball handler and on-ball creator. Bryant is capable of creating space, shooting over defenders off the dribble, and getting downhill for powerful finishes. During the open run, Toni looked like he had the skills to be a perimeter player, but when he was off-ball, he consistently shook the rim a dunk.

Dallas Oliver showed positive flashes for a freshman lead guard. He took his bumps guard [player_tooltip player_id='2134674' first='Archie' last='McFadden'] but stepped up for more every single time on both ends of the floor. He is a solid one-on-one defender with long arms and quick feet. His handle and passing shined in full court scrimmages. Oliver plays under control and knows when and how to place difficult passes. He's the son of former college basketball player and current USF assistant Desmond Oliver.
