That causes constant pressure on defenders. His headiness and shooting ability also were noticeable. Did a good job of scoring, setting the table in half-court situation and passing in transition. Also showed enough Moxy to finish at the rim with either hand and knock down shots if given room.

Developing lefty guard. Looked comfortable scoring in transition. Making plays off the dribble. Showed that he could attack off the dribble, get to the rim to finish at the rim. Ricky is still somewhat raw as in determining what guard positions he will thrive in. But has a potential to be one of the top guards in the class of 2027 in the PG county league in the coming years…Look for the young man to be a solid contributor for Eleanor Roosevelt this year.

Samartine just has a natural feel in running the show, seeing the floor, creating off the dribble, and displaying tremendous IQ/feel at a young age. Samartine just makes everyone better on the floor and is a leader on the court. He has a balanced game as a point guard and will only get better as he matures as a player. Possesses great instincts on the court. The ultimate coach on the floor.

Showed throughout the event that he could manipulate and dictate how the other players move on the court. He was poised when facing pressure, almost seeming to thrive off high defense as he consistently leverages that positioning into the paint touches and open looks for his team. He has a real future as a shot maker, evidenced by the consistent separation off the dribble and comfortability taking and making tough shots. He has a strong frame and uses that to defend against bigger guards, excelling at preventing paint touches.
