Class of 2027 Watchlist: Northeast Kansas – “The Length”

He's a strong guard who can defend guards and bigs. He's a smart playmaker with great court awareness and decision-making. Nichols is also an efficient three-point or mid-range shooter. He runs the floor and hits the boards hard, which leads to transition and second-chance points. He's a good shot blocker and a strong interior presence on defense. With a large frame, he plays a physical brand of basketball most guards struggle to defend. But, Mill Valley had a similarly loaded roster and finished third in the state tournament. However, Davis has a chance to provide a spark for the Jaguar's offense this year. He's a versatile athlete and can match up with guards or forwards. Defensively, he uses his length to cause problems for opposing ball handlers. He has a knack for deflecting passes and blocking shots.
