He could always out-muscle opponents in the paint, but as his feet improved so did his overall defense. Becher's D isn't just strength and power anymore. This certainly includes defending down low. He has a nice read and anticipation on the shot and times it well. This helps him defend the rim at an elite status. He beats and battles opponents for spots down low, and usually wins that battle.
