He plays like a power forward who has the skill set of a small forward. Parker has elite scoring ability from every where on the court. He basically scored at will in the painted area with excellent post moves and good footwork. On multiple occasions, he was able to score through contact and convert free throws with three point play opportunities. He's a really good perimeter shooter who knocked down most of his shots regardless of how the defense played against him. Parker even showed the capability of making threes if given the opportunity. A really good passer who setup his teammates for easy shots during the game. Great rebounding forward who constantly attacked the glass both offense and defense. In both games I watched him play, he had close to double-digit boards on both occasions. When fast breaking situations presented itself, he had no issues running the floor and converting at the basket. On defense, Parker's an excellent shot blocker!! I watched him turn away multiple shots as opposing players tried to drive the lane and score. He can also step out the paint and guard players out on the wing. This young man is a great player who has a chance of becoming elite, as he continues to grow physically and mentally. I truly loved this little guys game!! He's an excellent ball handler who's very skilled with the ball in his hands. He has the quickness needed to blow by defenders and either score in the lane or dish off assists to teammates. Zeek showed off his ability of being a great floor leader for his squad. He made sure everyone was where they needed to be on the court to be successful. Passing the ball is a big time strength of his also. He lead his squad in assists by constantly finding open players with pin-point passing. This young guy was also very vocal and played with high energy. A excellent shooter from both long and mid-range. I saw him knock down a total of six threes in both games on Saturday. Zeek showed the ability of getting into the paint and scoring the ball with either layups or floaters, which he often shot over taller defenders. Defensively, this young guy played awesome!! He really applied elite level on ball pressure to opposing guards. The little guy forced a number of turnovers with quick hands and excellent footwork. I believe he finished both games with multiple steals in each. Zeek already shows he has what it takes to succeed as a floor general. In the game I watched Layton play on Saturday, he was literally unstoppable. He finished the game with (35 points.) This was nearly all of his team's points. This guy was a "one man wreaking crew" who scored in every fashion imaginable. Whether it was driving to the basket, making shots from the perimeter, converting on free throws and knocking down threes, there were no answers from the opposing defense. Layton stayed in constant attack mode whenever he was on the floor. A really good ball handler who easily drove around defenders and got to the basket. Excellent rebounding guard who had no problem attacking the glass and fighting for boards among taller players. Layton's a really tough player who shows no fear on the basketball court. He'll always look to score the ball regardless of who's defending him. I love this mentality for Layton because I truly believe it suits him. He's a fiesty defender who stayed attached to opposing guards. With his defensive style, scoring wasn't easy to come by for his opponents. During the game I watched Saturday, Kellen was the clear leader of his squad as he was the team's assists leader. Watching this kid play was like watching a coach on the floor!! Kellen's an excellent shooter who has the capability of making long or mid-range shots. He showed off his ability to create his own shots with side and step back jump shots. On numerous occasions these shots went through the bottom of the net. In isolated situations against opposing guards, he was able to drive the ball to the basket for easy lay-ins. Kellen's a really good defender who can stay attached to his opponent and cause problems for them. He had no issues fighting through screens and disrupting the shots of opposing players. Didn't mind going inside the paint to grab rebounds on both ends of the court when the opportunity presented itself. Kellen is the type of player who lets the game come to him. This guy plays at his own pace and communicates with his team on both sides of the ball. ( Excellent floor leader ) He keeps a cool head out on the court and only tends to show emotion in big moments. He literally did everything for his team on Saturday. He scored, rebounded, assisted and played top tier defense on the opposition. I really enjoyed watching this young man display all his skills on the basketball court. He plays small forward but has the ability to run the squad as the lead guard. Kai used great ball handling skills to find open teammates with slick passes. These passes often lead to easy scores on display for all to see. Excellent at beating defenders off the dribble and getting to the basket. This guy has unlimited range from behind the arc. I saw him knock down multiple threes from well beyond the line. Kai's a natural scorer who just knows how to put the ball on the basket. His mid-range game is strong and his free throw shooting is steady. He really excels at grabbing defensive rebounds. I noticed his tenacity as he attacked the glass and constantly fought for every board he could get. On the defensive end of the court, Kai was extremely good at anticipating passes from opposing players. This ultimately lead to him shooting passing lanes and forcing turnovers. His on ball defense was also good as he used his length to apply pressure on the opposition. I'm really looking forward to seeing how his game progresses during the middle school season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
