I finally got to watch the UAA Circuit. My last circuit that I didn't cover yet. They were playing July 11-14 in Atlanta and in Chicago July 19-21. I took in multiple games of each team and here were some of the standouts.

We move over to the rising junior guard standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='2404557' first='Tyson' last='Dobbins'] Desert Christian (Tucson Spartans 16) (Pictured)

A good sized combo guard will score it in bunches. He will catch and shoot from the three point line with a quick trigger. He handles the ball fluidly and will score in transition and moves the ball to his teammates. He is easily one of the top small school guards in Tucson.

[player_tooltip player_id='2147242' first='Isaac' last='McNair'] Premier Prep Tucson (Tucson Spartans 16)

A bigger guard with some athleticism and skill. He can get into the lane with longer strides and shows good body control. He can catch a lob and finish with his bounce and good hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2147243' first='Jaden' last='Rodgers'] Premier Prep (Tucson Spartans 16)

An athletic good sized guard scores it efficiently around the paint. He plays with a huge motor to rebound in and out of his area. He plays the passing lanes and will take it down the court and throw it down on the break way above the rim or lay it in. He is versatile to shoot it from the perimeter and then next play post up his opponent.

[player_tooltip player_id='2135689' first='Jordan' last='Porter'] Mica Mountain (Tucson Spartans 16)

An undersized quick on quick pure point guard. He is very fast and elusive to get into the paint. He has a nice burst to get a step on his defender and to the rim. He is quick on the ball defensively and made a clutch three in the game I viewed. He guides the team when Llamas is not on the court perfectly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150901' first='John' last='Mattingly'] Central ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 16)

A scoring point guard guides his team to wins simply put. He has a big bag to score with calm spin moves, pull-ups from mid to the three and has great timing with his passes. He is super crafty to get to the basket with patience and will score thru the contact. He keeps his dribble alive amidst heavy pressure and has multiple ball fakes he uses. He picked up an offer recently from Nevada.

[player_tooltip player_id='1694989' first='Brody' last='Postorino'] St. Mary's ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 16)

A cerebral two-way combo guard. He defends on the ball, makes plays and will knock down perimeter jumpers. He will hit the three off the catch and spin inside the paint off of the defender to score on layups. He can handle the contact to score thru it. He rebounds well for a guard and plays the game from the neck up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1697292' first='Rylan' last='Parsley'] Sandra Day O'Connor ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] 16)

A bigger guard with high skill, length and athleticism. He can catch and shoot from the three point line with a super quick trigger. He will cut off the ball to score using his size over the defender and can handle contact. He had one poster attempt showing off his bounce in the Final-4.

[player_tooltip player_id='1893665' first='Cisco' last='Llamas'] Sahuaro (Tucson Spartans 16)

A quick scoring lead guard. He has quick hands to pester his opponents and rip some pockets. He sees the court well and truly played the point guard role diming his teammates with some slick pocket passes. He can hit the deep three and changes speeds to get downhill and score it with either hand. He uses the pick and roll game to his advantage finding a post player or scoring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1676630' first='Kristo' last='Jackson'] San Tan Charter ([program_tooltip program_id='2265774' first='UH' last='Elite UAA Rise'] 16)

An athletic guard can hit the three off the catch. He can get hot from deep when he is in rhythm. He is quick to the basket cutting off the ball for points and will leap up over the defenders. He is a physical defender on the ball and plays with a motor.
