Ohio Sophomore ID Camp: Team 1 Standouts

One of the most skilled forwards in Ohio, Keyes can do a lot with the ball in his hands at his size. Despite being a bigger bodied kid, Keyes has nimble feet and used the euro step to score around his defender multiple times in transition. Also a good shooter from the outside, Keyes knocked down a handful of 3-pointers off the dribble as well. One of the better wing athletes in the 2027 class in Ohio, Gill has elite open court speed and explosiveness. I thought Gill finished with his left hand at a high level at the rim. A kid who just flat out competes every time I watch him, James has become one of my favorite players to watch in the 2027 class. Showing some explosiveness as a driver, James had a big dunk and was living in the paint as a driver. Few players shot as efficiently from 3-point range as Olson did on Sunday. With a quick release and the confidence to shoot off the catch or dribble, Olson was scorching the nets on Sunday. Also knocking down a handful of perimeter shots off the catch, there's multiple areas of the game where I'm intrigued with Balcomb.
