He was counted on to guard players bigger than him. He was a physical player we counted on defensively and his rebounding."</h1>   <h1 class="wp-block-heading" style="font-size:17px">#2 [player_tooltip player_id='1863061' first='Aiden' last='Schmidt'] - "A quick guard that was able to get to the basket when we wanted. His quickness makes him tough to guard on the perimeter. He is also a great on-ball defender and guarded some of the best ball handlers on other teams."</h1>   <h1 class="wp-block-heading" style="font-size:17px">#4 [player_tooltip player_id='1863054' first='Rowen' last='Wiseman'] - "Could be counted on to hit a big threes when needed. His shooting range continues to expand and teams have to guard him outside the 3-point line. He was needed in the lane for his post defense and rebounding. He was a great three point shooter that that could be relied on to hit a big shot when needed. His confidence continues to grow with every game and the biggest improvement has been on the defensive end."</h1>   <h1 class="wp-block-heading" style="font-size:17px">#14 [player_tooltip player_id='2237753' first='Wyatt' last='Weekley'] - "A great all-around player. Can play point, post up, and could always be counted on to be a scorer. There is nothing this kid can't do on the offensive end. His defensive skills are just as good. He will be a force in Class B basketball this year."</h1>   <h1 class="wp-block-heading" style="font-size:17px">#15 [player_tooltip player_id='1542346' first='Zakai' last='Harildstad'] - "One of the hardest workers you will find. This kid only knows one mode and that's all out. "We had a very successful season. We didn't have a lot of practice time, and the team gelled well together. By the end of the season, the team was firing on all cylinders. We won a lot of games because of our effort and defense but this team is also loaded with shooters. It was a fun team to watch. There wasn't a tournament we went to where I didn't have a spectator come up after the game and tell me how fun the team is to watch. This is a group of great kids on and off the floor. We ended our season at 22-10."   PHD: Do you have any fun memories you want to share with us from the season?   "I think Battle of the Lakes was a turning point for us. We went 4-0 in that tournament and the players gained a lot of confidence that helped us in the tournaments moving forward."   PHD: How did your team overcome adversity?   "It didn't matter if we were winning or losing, this team played at a high level. We out worked our opponents in many of our games. That effort level made us a very competitive team and helped us wins games, that we were down in early."   PHD: What are a few things your team improved on?   "Our defense got better with every tournament. Also our ability to work together on the offensive end. We moved the ball well, played unselfish ball, and always found the open guy to knock down a shot."   PHD: Who was your top shooter?   "This team is loaded with shooters! [player_tooltip player_id='2237753' first='Wyatt' last='Weekley'] is a great perimeter shooter. He would take shots that would go in even when there was a hand in his face. [player_tooltip player_id='1863060' first='Jackson' last='Jordan'] is a pure shooter who has to be guarded on the perimeter. He has a very quick release and has the ability to score a lot of points in a short amount of time. [player_tooltip player_id='1863054' first='Rowen' last='Wiseman']'s shot continues to get better with every tournament. His range continues to grow and you have to pick him up 25 feet from the basket."   PHD: Who was your best rebounder?   "[player_tooltip player_id='1542351' first='Chase' last='Christensen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1542346' first='Zakai' last='Harildstad'] both were great at offensive and defensive rebounds. Chase is physical and would use that to his advantage down low, and Zakai is smooth and quick and could come from the perimeter to get a rebound, he probably shouldn't have gotten."   PHD: Who was your best defensive player?   "[player_tooltip player_id='1863061' first='Aiden' last='Schmidt'] is one of the best on-ball defenders I've seen. He was asked to pick players up 90 feet away from the hoop and his ability to make the dribbler turn and get frustrated was a huge asset to the team."   PHD: Any last comments/thoughts on the season?   "This team was exciting to watch and coach. Their work ethic and attitude made them a fun team to coach and watch grow over the season. It will be fun to watch them grow into great basketball players for their schools."
