AAB Showcase 2026 Standouts

PH NorCal spent Saturday at the AAB Showcase in San Rafael, CA Dominican College. Skills and Drills were conducted by college coaches before 6 camp games. Here are some of the 2026 prospects who stood out on the day. We have a few newcomers.    The long wiry prospect has been known to be a reliable shooter from behind the 3pt line when he gets into a rhythm. He made his fair share of 3's, but also used his lengthy wingspan to disrupt the passing lanes, getting deflections, steals, then passing up for assists, and easy buckets. He had a couple of chase down blocks.     Wright has steadily improved his overall skill set. He's a productive prospect that helps his team in multiple ways. Standing 6'4 he's a legitimate go to guy in the paint. He has excellent foot work, along with a series of moves he uses to get his shot off. He made good use of the jump hook, along with touch around the rim. He's a good rebounder with a solid body to defend inside. He hit a 3, handled a bit, with good passing.     He showed us a good set of skills in which he can be an effective prospect rebounding, handling the ball in transition with good passing and decision making, he sees the court. He's improved his jump shot from mid-range out past the 3pt line knocking multiple open 3's when open. The last time we saw him, he used spin moves and toughness working in the paint at the 15U level.     He's a confident guard with a solid body and decent handles he likes to use. He can play a physical style of basketball, aggressively attacking the paint from the perimeter using hard dribbles, spin moves, he's got range on the jump shot dropping paint jumpers, mid-ranges off the dribble and transition 3's. At 6'2 he'll rebound and bring it up.     He's a fast and speedy guard with quality handles to get by defenders using a burst and quick crossover dribbles to get into the paint often. He showed change of pace, finished strong attacking defenders in the paint. He pushes fast in transition, he did a decent job of settling the offense in half-court with good passing around the perimeter. He can hit the mid-range jumper off the dribble. He showed body control, handled contact.     He's a long wiry type of prospect with an fairly good skill set for his size. He could use some strengthening to handle the rough stuff, but he did show inside/out potential. During drills he spotted up for corner 3's, made a couple during games. He used his size in side to get his points, and hit short corner jumpers.     He played a good all around game. He was aggressive taking on contact on the dribble drive into the paint, he has a first step to get by. He handles and gets the ball up court, he made passes up. He was successful looking for scoring opportunities. He dropped a couple of 3's, we'll see more.     He turned it up in the late game sessions. He's a crafty guard that can find ways to be productive. He's always moving, making cuts to the basket or finding spots to knock down 3's. He has a good shot, uses a floater often. He has decent handles and vision to spray the ball around the court.     He's a fast guard with a good set of ball handling skills. He aggressively looks for his shot, but sees the court to deliver quality passes aroud the perimeter. He defends hard. He has a 3 he can hit, he runs in transition
