The upcoming academic school year is almost here as the first week and a half of August is done. The 2026 class has the talent to make their impact felt on the floor, especially in Non-Public A. Here are the 2026 Non-Public A shooting guards to track.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595680' first='Mason' last='Santiago'], 6'3 St. Peter's Prep

Santiago had a solid summer and is looking to carry it over into the winter. The 6'3 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to get to the rim off the bounce and can finish in a number of ways around the basket. Santiago is more than just a slasher as he has a smooth release on his jumper and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is a tough on-ball defender. Santiago picked up a pair of D1 offers last week and has the potential to pick up more with a strong 2024-25 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595684' first='Saad' last='Mitchell'], 6'2 Hudson Catholic

Mitchell has the ability to play on the ball as well, making him an intriguing prospect to watch in the class. The 6'2 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of drawing contact. Mitchell can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He pushes the pace well in transition and is an underrated passer. Mitchell is a gritty guard prospect whose ability to play on and off the ball will help his stock in a big way throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2342638' first='Jaden' last='Brown'], 6'2 Bergen Catholic

Brown has made plays over the course of the summer and should bring it over into the winter. The 6'2 guard plays with poise on the ball as he rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and finishes in a variety of ways around the basket. Brown has a good touch on his floater and can find his open teammates when he gets into the lane. He slides his feet well on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Brown should have the ball in his hands more this season, which will help his development in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2453542' first='Jordan' last='Williams'], 6'4 St. Augustine

Williams transferred into St. Augustine from Deptford and should make an immediate impact for the Hermits. The 6'4 guard uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and knows how to finish around the basket. Williams uses his size to see over his defender and does not force the issue in the halfcourt. He is a solid rebounder and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Williams picked up an offer from Chestnut Hill this summer and is looking to add to that offer sheet with a strong winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2342648' first='Will' last='Foley'], 5'11 Notre Dame

Foley is one of the top shooters in the 2026 class and should put it on display this season. The 5'11 guard has a smooth shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. Foley moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the halfcourt. He rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt and is an underrated defender. Foley is a sharpshooting guard prospect who will be looking to light up the scoreboard in 2024-25.
