Billy LoPresti and SEBA have been around it seems for ages, and do a tremendous job developing and exposing some of Cobb County and beyond's most interesting talents. Their 16U and 17U iterations this summer are no different, took a ride to Kennesaw recently, first we look at the 17s.

To me one of the spring's and now summer's top stock-risers, particularly after he did the same thing from a production standpoint in June when he returned to join his Yellow Jacket mates. Has matured as a lead guard prospect after showing off his scoring chops in prior seasons, and that is wise as he can be just the kind of bunches-scoring PG teams thrive with the way he can fill it up from all levels. Distributes, rebounds, defends 3 spots. Stands a solid 6-3 and may not be done growing, a must-see guy and one D2's would be wise to get in on as he hasn't in my view reached his full potential yet.

Another noteworthy stock-riser the 6-7 inside-out threat has really impressed with his back-to-the-basket possibilities and ability to stretch defenses with his shooting. Superb post defender can affect and block shots and has good lateral movement to defend away from the basket. Has a good head for the game and in a college-type system can take further steps to expand upon his offerings on the mental side. Playing with SEBA has brought the Bartow County product closer to the recruiting limelight and taking advantage of the two July live periods will be paramount.

[player_tooltip player_id='2691467' first='Andric' last='Parent'] & Cam Hewling | Guards | Mt Paran

The pair is getting set to play another season alongside one another for Coach Chuck Frierson at Paran, and they possess similar qualities that make them tough on the floor together. It's a pick-your-poison scenario, as Parent is a bit more of a point guard with a good sense for running a team and the willingness to be a pass-first guy. Gets after it guarding the ball, I like his shooting and his speed off the bounce, more things that augment an already intriguing package. Hewling is a stellar athlete, was raw and exciting 2 years ago but now added more definable substance to the excitement part. A track star for the Eagles, he's been a do-it-all guy even hovering around 6-1. Can guard the whole floor and does at times for SEBA, but it's out in space and then up to the rim where Hewling shines and the burst and versatility are what pop when he goes on a 2 or 3-possession run of excellence.

Carter McCarn | Guard | Georgia Force Christian

At 6-6 with a pure stroke right out of the book, and that alone can carry him far, but it's truly the next steps where McCarn will dictate where he lands. And some of those steps have clearly been taken, the willingness to get at the basket more and not settle for jump shots and the defensive aggressiveness to block shots around the basket and be a primary rebounder with more authority. This last two years with SEBA has definitely assisted with him playing outside the GHSA, and his advancement is the sort of natural progression for a guy entering his senior year. Coming from a basketball family it's no surprise he's attacked those areas and added to his growing profile.
