The annual WIBCA June D1 Recruiting Event took place on the last weekend of July up in the Bellevue/Sammamich/Issaquah area and we had an opportunity to drop by all three gyms on Sunday to take in some of the action. Watching alongside a whole host of college coaches, including many from the D-I ranks, here are some of the top rising senior forwards and posts:

[player_tooltip player_id='1368245' first='Mason' last='Bierbrauer'] (2025 Barlow) - Bierbrauer started off slow in Barlow's win over Lehi (Utah) but really picked things up in the second half - mainly through hard work and effort. The rising senior forward hit the offensive glass hard, which earned him some putbacks for scores which helped him get the confidence to start hitting some of his patented mid-range jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2342862' first='Javier' last='Diaz'] (2025 Tualatin) - As the summer has gone along, Diaz has settled into his new role as the Timberwolves main big man and he was rock solid in a win over Westview. The rising senior played physical inside, earning some tough finishes both posting up and off the offensive glass, and was rock solid on the defensive boards and with his positional defense.

Emmitt Fee (2025 Wilsonville) - Fee's future will likely be as a football player but he has continued to develop as a legit inside presence for Wilsonville. In the team's victory over Nathan Hale, the rising senior showed good aggressiveness under control with his post moves and utilized a soft touch on his shot to get some buckets. He wasn't afraid to bang around for some boards too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1368243' first='Jason' last='Grady'] (2025 Westview) - Grady has been one of the breakout performers this spring and summer on both the AAU and high school scene, and it's not just because he missed all of last season. The rising senior has shown that he can still knock down the perimeter J but also be more effective getting to the basket and scoring inside. Tough loss against Tualatin but Grady definitely came to play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1770295' first='Will' last='Jenson'] (2025 Caldera) - Finally getting fully healthy is Jenson and it certainly showed for Jenson as he helped lead Caldera to their first win the WIBCA D1 Showcase. The rising senior big man did by really crashing the offensive boards, getting second and sometimes third chances at the hoop for scores. He used his length and athleticism to attack the rim and did so through contact for a 25-point, 10+ rebound double-double.

[player_tooltip player_id='2348774' first='Peyton' last='Read'] (2025 Westview) - It was hard for us to believe that the WIBCA event was Read's first basketball action of the summer when we heard that from Westview head coach Mike Wolf, as the rising senior big man looked dominant in the paint at times. The future college gridiron standout kept things simple by catching the ball, making strong moves, and effectively using the glass for scores while doing a good job on the boards and running the floor.
