A strong end to his sophomore season for Saint Thomas More turned into a very strong summer showing for both the Cavaliers and the [program_tooltip program_id='2480703' first='24:' last='UP'] club program. Fofana can play either guard position so his versatility is an added bonus to his ability to find the basket. He is quick off the dribble and can finish over bigger defenders with his athleticism. During Saint Thomas More's playoff run last March, Fofana scored nine points in a win over Milwaukee Academy of Science, nine in a win over Carmen Northwest, six in the state semifinal win over Prescott and nine more in the 65-54 victory over Lakeside Lutheran in the Division 3 title game. Look for Fofana to have a breakout junior season for Saint Thomas More in 2024-25.

No. 48 [player_tooltip player_id='1561965' first='Joseph' last='Daly'], 6-6, F, New London ([program_tooltip program_id='2076027' first='Wisconsin' last='Blizzard'])

One of the more mobile, skilled and diverse forwards in the state's 2026 class, Daly can play on the perimeter and move the ball with his passing skills or go inside and score in the lane with his size and verticality. Daly makes smart decisions on the court and can also guard different positions because of his impressive ability to move his feet. A second-team all-Bay Conference pick as a sophomore, Daly led a very good New London team in scoring (15.5 ppg) and rebounding (7.2 rpg) in 2023-24.

No. 62 [player_tooltip player_id='2117026' first='Ian' last='Kowal'], 6-2, G/F, Onalaska ([program_tooltip program_id='2110787' first='Wisconsin' last='26ers'])

It's a smart move to allow Kowal to touch the ball on every possession because the skilled 6-foot-2 wing makes such tremendous decisions with the ball in his hands. He quick passing ability keeps the defense moving and his improved shooting from both the mid range and outside the arc means opponents cannot sag off of him to play help defense. Kowal might not overwhelm defenders with his size or athleticism, but he consistently helps his team win with his smart decision making. The son of Onalaska coach Craig Kowal figures to one of the top scoring options for the Hilltoppers this winter.

No. 69 [player_tooltip player_id='1561958' first='Donovan' last='Cowley'], 6-3, G, Roncalli ([program_tooltip program_id='2440559' first='Lakeshore' last='Force'])

A player who appears to get better by the day, Cowley does a bit of everything on the court. He can rebound, score, defend, pass and use his length to come up with steals and deflections. Coming off a strong sophomore campaign at Roncalli where he averaged 15.2 points and 7.6 rebounds, Cowley helps the Jets to 15 wins and is one of five returning starters for coach Josh Erickson. Cowley's impact on the same in so many different areas will be vital in the Jets' attempt to capture the Eastern Wisconsin Conference title.

No. 79 [player_tooltip player_id='1561928' first='Brock' last='Walser'], 6-2, G, Badger ([program_tooltip program_id='2076501' first='Chapman' last='Basketball Academy'])

Basketball is a skill game, to be sure, but it doesn't hurt to have an abundance of physical strength. Case in point, [player_tooltip player_id='1561928' first='Brock' last='Walser']. His physicality and confidence, not to mention his skill and aggressiveness, are big assets for Badger and [program_tooltip program_id='2076501' first='Chapman' last='Basketball Academy']. Walser's best attribute might be drawing fouls. He seems to constantly be at the foul line. A year ago at Badger, Walser averaged 8.9 foul shots per game. He also averaged 20.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists for the Badgers.

No. 84 [player_tooltip player_id='2492539' first='Grant' last='Sulik'], 6-5, F, Burlington

Also a very good prospect in football, Sulik is another player who should touch the ball on nearly every possession. His court vision, scoring versatility and smart decision making are all big assets for a Burlington program coming off consecutive 20-win seasons. At 6-foot-5 and with impressive physical strength, Sulik will not be bumped off his position and definitely can score through contact. Defensively, he is a very good rebounder and can come across the lane to help his teammates with blocked/altered shots.

No. 86 [player_tooltip player_id='2224527' first='Nick' last='Schultz'], 6-0, G, Neenah ([program_tooltip program_id='2225511' first='All-Wisconsin' last=''])

Schultz likely will take over the point-guard position at Neenah for the 2024-25 season, but his impact to date has come in his all-around ability to make positive contributions on the court. He had a good sophomore year for Neenah, starting for one of the state's elite programs as a sophomore and averaging 4.0 ppg. His role will expand during his junior season to take advantage of his maturity, ball skills and basketball instincts.

No. 90 [player_tooltip player_id='2432823' first='Kobe' last='Russell'], 6-2, CG, Prescott ([program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'])

Like Fofana, Russell showed off what he is capable of doing on the basketball court last March at the WIAA Division 3 State Tournament. A good all-around athlete who also excels in football, Russell can guard with the best of them on the perimeter and is improving his ball handling, shooting and passing skills. He has very good size, strength and athleticism, and figures to be a team leader for the program at Prescott the next two seasons.

No. 96 [player_tooltip player_id='2496353' first='Xavier' last='Edwards'], 6-1, CG, D.C. Everest ([program_tooltip program_id='2078835' first='Wisconsin' last='Swing'])

Another piece to a very good team at D.C. Everest, Edwards had a strong spring/summer for both the Evergreens and the [program_tooltip program_id='2078835' first='Wisconsin' last='Swing']. He can play several positions and guards well on the perimeter and even near the basket with his athleticism and physical strength. Edwards started as a sophomore for coach Oliver Drake at D.C. Everest and averaged 8.2 points and 4.5 rebounds. He teams with [player_tooltip player_id='1673681' first='Cohen' last='Priebe'], [player_tooltip player_id='2492771' first='Casey' last='Stuedemann'], [player_tooltip player_id='2496336' first='Cade' last='Felch'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2509452' first='Vander' last='Truax'] to give the Evergreens a rock-solid core for the 2024-25 season.
