Versatile All-Purpose Players from Around the State

Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of good all-purpose players from around the state who play the "Swiss Army Knife" role very well to help their teams succeed. He can take the ball and be a playmaker and he also can go into the post. He slashes well on offense and will move well off the ball. He is also a capable 3-point shooter. He can score, but he is also very unselfish and can create plays for his teammates. He plays bigger than his height as he works the boards with tenacity and guards opposing bigs. He is also an effective slasher who can knock down open 3-pointers. He is an elite defender who made a game-winning steal and layup in the state quarterfinals to give the Red Devils a last-second win. In the state semifinals, he grabbed 18 rebounds from his guard position. He is also a solid ball handler who is also a resourceful offensive player. He is an excellent defensive player who is capable of guarding big players in the post and perimeter players outside with his length and athleticism. He is also a strong rebounder. and can be a secondary ball handler. He is also a reliable 3-point shooter, especially from the corners. He is rock solid at 195-pounds and can play a physical game inside against bigger players. He is a good connector who keeps the ball moving and the team organized. He is the player that is a good producer without having to have a play run for him. He will hustle to the offensive boards to get a putback. He screens well and will get a layup off the roll down. He is also an active defender who can be disruptive with his deflections. He can also handle the ball and keep it moving with his passing skills. On a team full of talented guards, he plays inside a lot defensively as he can use his strong body to battle inside against taller players, but he can also guard on the perimeter. On offense, he handles the ball quite a bit as a playmaker and facilitator. He can power his way into the lane on the drive and also hit the catch and shoot 3-pointer.
