Sleeper Five for the Class of 2026

<p>Each team will typically have their shot taker or a 1-2 punch that gets a lot of the attention and accolades for their strong contribution to the team. For teams to win consistently, they need players outside of the "stars" to show up. They need teammates to make the most of their opportunities when the gameplan is not focused on them. I am covering five players I foresee stepping up in a big way and pushing their team to the next level, the sleepers.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700"><a href="https://x.com/Owen1Anderson">https://x.com/Owen1Anderson</a></p>   <p>Anderson is a strong, athletic forward with a solid post-game and a smooth turnaround jumper. He effectively uses his body to gain position and create shielded layup attempts. A force in the open floor, Anderson often produces spectacular plays above the rim. He has also worked on his three-point shot and can hit spot-ups reliably. A forward with length and unlimited range on the perimeter, his size allows him to be just as effective in the post with a smooth turnaround jumper and solid seals that lead to easy layups. Major has a knack for finding the soft spots in defenses and taking full advantage. The Mustangs lost some firepower from beyond the arc from last season, but Mosser is ready to step into the spotlight and deliver.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700"><a href="http://_iamtorranbrown">http://_iamtorranbrown</a></p>   <p>The Jr. Jays always seem to find an undersized point guard with serious athleticism, and this year it's Carter-Brown. With an explosive first step, Carter-Brown slices to the basket to finish or find an open teammate. He intelligently uses his big man to play out and inside-out game, frequently passing into the post early in possessions. A dangerous three-point shooter, he can shoot both on the move and when spotting up. The Jr. Jays have a formidable combo with Carter-Brown and [player_tooltip player_id='1580108' first='Trinell' last='Parker'], posing significant challenges for teams in the pick-and-roll. He is a solid defender, applying heavy ball pressure and getting out quickly on breaks to attack the basket. While he can shoot with range, he excels when moving toward the basket. Another fundamentally strong Dragon player, Wilkins applies pressure with his solid shot-making. Scouts will leave the building excited about the effort and intensity that Wilkins brings to the game.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700"><a href="https://x.com/ziebellgeorge">https://x.com/ziebellgeorge</a></p>   <p>Ziebell, with his strong 6'8" frame and long arms, runs the floor well and consistently fills the lane as an easy passing target. He has a soft touch and knows how to use the backboard effectively. Utilizing pump fakes and body positioning, he creates high-percentage shots and excels as a good interior passer. Practicing with and playing alongside one of the top Class B bigs will only strengthen his game.
