On July 11th-14th I attended the Puma circuit at the big facility of the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa/AZ.

There were 5 local programs I watched with Apex Athletix, AZ Venom, Factory, Jump Athletics and Team Supreme.

Here were some of the standout 2025 PG's

[player_tooltip player_id='2134321' first='Gabriel' last='Buksh'] Cienega (Apex Athletix)

A scoring lead guard can catch and shoot from the three point line and rattle them off. He gets hot quickly and he can pull-up from mid-range off the dribble. He has a good feel and plays smartly off the pick and roll game. He should have a big year in Tucson.

[player_tooltip player_id='1430733' first='Zayden' last='Canchano'] Willow Canyon (AZ Venom)

An undersized point guard is quick on quick in the open court to get downhill and blow past his defenders. He is fast with the ball in his hands and moves the ball smartly to his teammates. He moves his feet like you should on defense with quick hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150847' first='Carlos' last='Coronado Jr'] Coolidge (Team Supreme)

A bigger point guard makes plays and sprays it around. His size, passing ability and defense on the ball is next level. His up the court ropes on a dime and on-ball defense makes his game go. he scores with off the dribble threes, mid-range pull-ups and takes contact well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306050' first='David' last='Cayetano'] Premier Prep Tucson (Apex Athletix)

A bigger sized, lean point guard can play on or off the ball. He is a very good passer and has a high feel for the game. He can score in transition and pull-up from mid-range or hit the three. An improving Tucson product should have a good year with the EIBC team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1336443' first='Uriah' last='Tenette'] Prescott (AZ Factory)

A walking bucket has elite level pull-ups from mid to the three point line. He has a tight handle in close spaces and moves the ball to make a play with a couple needle threaders. His middy is about as good as it gets and can rattle in deep triples with range. He shift makes him hard to stay in front of and was one of the top players all year on the circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='1177823' first='Steven' last='Tippit'] Bella Vista Prep (Apex Athletix)

An undersized scoring lead guard is a deep three point shooter. He can rattle in triples with a shifty and tighter handle. He can split defenders and then make a play for his teammates. His speed with the ball and skill standout.

[player_tooltip player_id='1425099' first='Kaleel' last='Kelly'] Willow Canyon (AZ Factory) (Pictured)

A breakout weekend for Kelly. He scored with downhill takes using his body and thicker frame and bounces off of defenders. He has a tough mid-range pull-up and rebounds well for a guard. He is shooting the cover off the ball as of late and still is attacking off the dribble getting to his spots. He talks a lot on defense and makes it tough to score on him.
