Pangos Sweet 16 Standouts:15u at Cerritos

PH NorCal was at Pangos Sweet 16 on Friday July 12. We spent the evening watching NorCal Prospects at the 15 and 16 levels. Here are some of the prospects in the Class of 2027 and 2028 who stood out while we were in attendance.    He's a growing prospect with an improving skill set. He has a good jump shot with range to hit 3's. He has good vision, a ball mover willing to make the extra pass. He used his dribble, and a few spin moves to get into the paint for passes, and floaters.     He's a solid body shooting guard that can hit the 3pt shot from different spots on the court. He's an improving ball handler still learning how to use his body to get into the paint. He's on the court late because he can knock down the big 3 in a crunch.     A fast and speedy guard with good handles, and moves to get into the paint for different finishes, floaters, paint jumpers, spins moves on balance. He's not afraid to attack shot blockers. He plays with good energy on the defensive side of the ball trapping, and hounding ball handlers full court.     He'll be an impact Freshman when high school basketball begins. He has some tools to work with. At the 15U level he has his way in the paint with his physical style of play. Rebounding, and scoring. We've seen him handle the ball in transition, and up top, he can play on the perimeter driving into the paint, along with good passing. He defends bigger and stronger players when playing up.     He's a fast and speedy guard with good ball handling skills. He's fast pushing in transition, he'll find open mates. He has a good first step, and hard dribbles attacking defenders to get into the paint along the perimeter. He has the quickness, and foot speed to be a good defender     He's shown himself to be a contributor in some form or fashion. He could be a combo for now, because he has the handles and vision to run point, he's a ball mover, he runs the court both ways, he will finish in transition and around the rim. He can help rebound, and give effort defending.     He's a solid body, still growing, with a developing skill set. He's a good rebounder at the 15U level, with good outlet passing or he'll bring it up himself before handing it off. He'll finish around the rim, defend on the perimeter, but has the strength to help defend bigger players.
