Pangos Sweet 16: Standouts 17U

We spent the weekend in SoCal, Friday we watched NorCal Prospects 15/16 at Cerritos. On Sunday we returned to McBride High School for the 17U level. Bay City Warriors 17U RB, and Team Rampage National 17U were the teams we saw on Sunday.    The game we watched he was on fire from behind the 3pt line. He had at least 4-3's. He's a confident spot up shooter that can drop 3's from around the perimeter. His mates started looking for him. He takes good shots, no forces, he's a ball mover.     Fisher plays a balanced game with good fundamentals, he's a ball move. He can shoot the ball from behind the 3 point line, he has to be accounted for. He had hard drives into the paint finishing around the rim with scoops and other ways. He makes his free throws.     Landers will be a key piece for his team. He's a rising prospect in this class. He's improved his skill set working in the post area. He's long and getting stronger, making different shots in the post. He's underrated as a post passer, seeing cutters, and shooters on the other side. He has some post presence, he's rebounding and changing shots.     He showed us his overall game. He's productive working in and around the post areas on both ends. He got offensive rebounds for put back points. He used one and two dribbles to beat the defender off the dribble from the baseline, high post, and other angles to finish strong going up in traffic handling the contact. He's making good use of his body.     He's been a consistent hard playing athletic wing for a while. He plays as hard as any player on the court. We think he's best in transition racing up court for finishes. He's tough in the post area, working for rebounds and finishing strong going up. He's an underrated defender who can defend multiple positions, he'll go up and out of his space to block a shot.     He plays a good all around game, doing certain things that shows he understands the game. He's a good ball handling guard with passing skills to run point if called to do so. He's a long and growing prospect who can knock down 3's from the perimeter, he can get into the paint. He's a long arm defender on the perimeter, that moves his feet and takes up the passing lanes.     He's an X Factor, no flash but he always seems to be a contributor when he's on the court. At 6'4 he's a long wiry type prospect that seems to get rebounds from hustle, boxing out, and positioning. He'll defend from perimeter to post.     He's a scrappy pass first point guard with excellent vision. He brings some toughness to the court. He'll guard ball handlers full court stabbing at the ball, he'll be the first to the ground for loose balls. He has the handles and strength to get into the paint for floaters, and high off the glass buckets. He pushes and passes up court often.
