Pangos Sweet 16 Standout 15/16 at Cerritos College

PH NorCal was at Pangos Sweet 16 on Friday, at Cerritos College for shootout games at the 15U/16U level. Here are the 16's who played well.    He's finding the balance between facilitator and scoring. He's showing he can run an offense and involve others with good passing, knowing he can put points on the board in different ways. He has a relentless attack going towards the rim. He's defending better, and going after rebounds and blocks at 6'0.     At 6'5 he's a willing passer with vision to make the long pass up court, and around the perimeter. He can get to the paint using fakes, and jabs along the perimeter. He's defending on the perimeter, using his length to distract shooters, and take up passing lane. He'll help rebound and block a few.     He's one of the more consistent point guards from the Sacramento Area. His quality handles, and patience up top allows the offense to flow in half-court sets. He's good at pushing or passing it up in transition. He can kick, and pass it to shooters. He can generate a bucket, drop a 3, he makes the right decisions in the crunch.     He's a long and growing prospect with a good jump shot. He's a threat in the corners and working along the baseline. He'll use his dribble and length to get close to the rim, or he'll use a dribble or two to knock down short jumpers. He can hit corner 3's, along with transition 3's.     He's a strong athletic guard that contributes on both sides of the court. He has the speed and strength to defend most ball handlers, and shooters. He has the hops to fearlessly attack and finish strong at the rim in transition including dunks. He's getting better working his way into the paint for points using his dribble.     He's a newcomer that can contribute in different ways. His handles, and some quick movements to get into the paint to challenge defenders. He has lengthy arms and foot speed to defend on the perimeter. He has good hops to go for rebounds. We'll se more.       He's a hard playing guard who gives good effort on the defensive side putting pressure on ball handlers early on. He has good handles, and foot speed to get the ball up court in a hurry, he's a willing passer. He can be aggressive looking for his shots, handling contact on the drive. He knock down 3's in rhythm.
