[player_tooltip player_id='2508616' first='Antione' last='Hicks'] showed great flashes of being a rising guard in WV big school basketball. Hicks didn't score a ton throughout but does some things without the ball that equate into being a good high school player. Defensive intensity and speed on offense especially in transition are things he has and knows how to use. Look for him to press for time at Oak Hill early in the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2508618' first='DJ' last='Spencer'] could be the next star in the making at George Washington High School. Spencer shoots it above average and finishes it well when around or at the rim. Spencer had an excellent weekend scoring the ball with three out of six games in double figures. But most impressively is Spencer's basketball IQ which I noticed quickly in the first game I watched with Hustle-Blue.

[player_tooltip player_id='2376733' first='Hendrix' last='Cook'] was a kid I was really looking forward to seeing. He's a skilled player with what I believe is a high ceiling and lots of room to grow as a player. Cook is really good in transition finishing plays, athletic and strong enough to guard multiple positions. He'll be a solid player for Westside HS in years to come but could possibly be a great two-way player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2508619' first='Jace' last='Repass'] was slow starting getting in the score book but did close out session one with an 11 point performance and added solid scoring support in session two. The Westside High School player is a yet another young and rising player in that program and has a chance to be a double double guy in his high school seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='2508620' first='Nate' last='Vestal'] is yet another big/post player and Nate played very well throughout. Vestal has excellent feet and gets the ball on the rim quickly on put backs. Nate is comfortable facing the basket and making plays in that scenario. I'd anticipate Vestal being a varsity player at Pikeview very quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2434994' first='Noah' last='Evans'] was as steady and consistent as anyone on the Blue roster. Evans has a great feel for the game, knows how to score it from anywhere and doesn't mind contact. Evans was a great option on offense and kept defenses honest with his threat from outside. Look for him to push for varsity minutes quickly at Sissonville.

[player_tooltip player_id='2377052' first='Caylem' last='Thomas'] played as well as any guard in the Hustle 15U program. Thomas is very athletic and smooth with the ball. Caylem is fast and furious on breaks and doesn't hesitate to dish rather than score. I was really impressed with Thomas's intensity and energy that he couples nicely with his athleticism and skill. Nitro has a loaded returning roster so Thomas will have an uphill battle to be on the floor but don't be surprised if he shows up in the box score by season's end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2496407' first='Collin' last='Crouch'] is yet another talented player in the already talented Nitro program. But Crouch plays with so much energy and intensity he is gonna give someone in that program a huge push. He was super impressive throughout the weekend but his inside play with rebounds, put backs and simple quick moves to the basket on entry passes really kept interior defenses on their heels. Crouch was in my opinion their most valuable player in multiple games due to his willingness to be physical and make defenses collapse on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2508622' first='Isaiah' last='Scott'] is a lengthy and rangy wing player who shows flashes of great basketball from time to time. Scott looks like he could be a knock-down shooter, looks like he could be a slasher when he wants to or looks like he could run the offense as a big guard. Scott has a high ceiling athletically and could reach it if he gets stronger physically.

[player_tooltip player_id='2434993' first='Justin' last='Raines'] the third of the Nitro trio on this roster, was light on the scoreboard but did alot of things without the ball which basketball folks like myself like to see. Raines plays hard, uses his height and rebounds strong. Raines also plays strong and physical on defense in the post.

[player_tooltip player_id='2434992' first='Kaden' last='Welch'] might be the best athlete on the roster and he used it to play some great basketball especially in the second session. Leading the team in scoring outta the gate in session two, Welch put some great offensive possessions together and also played well on the defensive end. Welch is a rising prospect with likely a bright future at George Washington HS.

[player_tooltip player_id='2508624' first='Nate' last='Frye'] provided alot of guard support off the bench with the ability to play any guard spot as well as guard on-ball effectively. A guard with solid skill and good size, Frye is already in a basketball guard factory at Williamstown HS and has a chance to rise to prospect level.
