Potts was [program_tooltip program_id='2075704' first='MN' last='Rise']'s standout performer in their morning pool play matchup with the Northwest Iowa Stars. Showcasing a solid shot from both mid-range and beyond the arc, as well as having the size to get to the basket, using his physicality to making things happen. Making layups as he drove the lane and also drawing fouls.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075704' first='MN' last='Rise']'s other standout performer showed off a strong ability to create space for an open look. Utilizing a nifty spin move and hitting a fade away jumper, Busse showed that he is a quality shooter.

Rivera's ability to make plays and create offense was key in [program_tooltip program_id='2075258' first='ABC' last='Young Lions'] matchup with Dakota Phenom. Rivera showed a keen ability to find the open man with an impressive display of passing as well as being able to take the shot himself if the open man wasn't there. Rivera also showed that he can take it to the rim and finish as well with a couple of nice layups, his shooting ability stands out but he also has the size and speed to challenge defenders in the paint as well.

On the other end of the court Shepherd was a standout in the Phenom's close win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075258' first='ABC' last='Young Lions']. Utilizing a strong shot to knock down key three's early on. Shepherd was also content with taking the easy bucket when the three wasn't there. This solid decision making and willingness to not force it if a play wasn't there is one of Shepherd's key attributes for success.

Armstrong showed a willingness to be patient and take what the defense gave him in North Dakota Phenom's win on Saturday morning. Setting up for corner three pointer Armstrong showed that he was just as willing to crash inside and take the east two if the three wasn't there, which allowed him to make easy buckets that proved key in the four point win. Patience and willingness to make the right decision and not force a shot if it's no there set Armstrong apart.
