The best game I saw all weekend was Midwest Burgett Vs [program_tooltip program_id='2396390' first='Quality' last='Sports Academy'], it also happened to be the best game I've seen Conkle play this year. Conkle came out the gates swinging with a couple impact defensive plays that included a blocked shot that led to a no-look dime for an assist. He then got going from downtown, knocking down one 3-pointer where he ran off a screen and another couple pull-up jumpers from the top of the key. Finally, Conkle finished in traffic through contact. At the end of the game, Conkle was fouled with 2 seconds left and his team down a point, he calmly knocked down both free throws to secure the win for his team.

Davis made some big time perimeter shots in the win Vs [program_tooltip program_id='2396390' first='Quality' last='Sports Academy']. An undersized guard, Davis is most lethal offensively behind the 3-point line where he can launch away. A confident shooter who moves without the ball and isn't afraid to let it fly well beyond the line, Davis is one of the top scorers in the FAC. Been a consistent producer for Midwest Burgett all spring and came up big down the stretch today.

An undersized squad, Burgett had to step up for his team on the interior on both ends of the court. Battling in the paint for position on rebounds and to occupy space defensively, Burgett played a majority of the game and kept competing. Offensively, Burgett ended with 11 points in the thrilling win Vs [program_tooltip program_id='2396390' first='Quality' last='Sports Academy'] as he knocked down a 3-pointer, had a reverse layup and a putback finish. Doing a bit of everything to help his team win and move on, always needs to be praised.

SEMO Select had no problem getting a win this morning as they took advantage of a speed advantage by pushing the ball up the court quickly and scoring before the defense could get set. Nobody thrived in transition more than Rivers who used his blazing speed to score by either streaking down the sideline or simply grabbing and going off turnovers and missed shots. Also knocking down a couple 3-pointers, Rivers showed the ability to score the ball in a few different ways.

The muscle in the paint for SEMO Select, Ivy is a force in the paint and impacted both ends. With good size and strength, Ivy blocked shots, grabbed rebounds and finished on the interior. Nothing flashy about his game but if the opposing team doesn't have a big body to throw at Ivy, he can dominate the interior. After falling on Friday night, SEMO select bounced back with 2 wins on Saturday and Ivy played a key role in those wins.

One of the few 2024 prospects still competing this weekend, Aljebury was a bright spot for the Michigan Shockers squad. Maybe the smallest guy on the court, Aljebury played hard and scored effectively on drives by using floaters and runners. Also doing a nice job of setting the table for his teammates, Aljebury had a couple assists. Not afraid to shoot the long ball, Aljebury made a couple shots from the outside, but his team struggled as a whole to stretch the defense.
