I want to take a look at some of the standouts I viewed when I saw them play in one or two of their weekend games. I obviously could not see all 4 of them and they could have had their worst game when I watched but hopefully I caught them at the right time.

Here were some standout PF/C's from the 12 local teams

[player_tooltip player_id='1301344' first='Kingston' last='Tosi'] Millennium

An athletic hyper efficient power forward. He was working on his sweet spot from the high post and either rising up off the dribble from mid-range and ripping thru and going to work with a very fast move. He is a very good passer out of the double and finds teammates naturally in stride during the flow of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1482163' first='Cristian' last='Simmons'] Sunnyslope

A face-up power forward will score off the dribble and catch and shoot three point shots. He will even step into a three on the break. He rebounds well in heavy traffic using his long arms and reach. He moves without the ball and makes smart reads to teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='1490241' first='Elijah' last='Summers-Livingston'] Basha

A twitchy athletic power forward flies up the court. He can rim run and throw down thunderous dunks plus crow hop down the lane to score. He will rebound and tracks the ball well to block shots in and out of his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150903' first='Rocket' last='Schwertley'] Brophy Prep

A thicker framed power forward has advanced skill, a nice touch and plays the game with a big IQ. He has plus post footwork to score down low with power moves, counter moves and has a pretty touch with his shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id='1336442' first='Zane' last='Gaul'] Prescott

A tall post player is a glass cleaner who scores it around the rim with hook shots, put backs, quick moves to the basket and dunks. He will step out and shoot it from the perimeter and run the floor well. When he is playing well, they are tough to beat.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150843' first='Andrew' last='Bhesania'] Boulder Creek

A long and lean face-up power forward is a strong two-handed rebounder. He can shoot the three off the catch, rip thru with a hard drive and use advanced footwork in the post. He sees the court well and will make the play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1950118' first='Jeremiah' last='Robertson'] Casteel

An athletic power forward can play and defend multiple positions. He is an out of area rebounder and he is a sneaky good passer. He will flush it down on the break and can occasionally step out and shoot it from the perimeter. He makes his money on defense and near the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1938807' first='Makenzie' last='Lazor'] Casteel (Pictured)

[player_tooltip player_id='1333492' first='Michael' last='Simcoe'] Sandra Day O'Connor

The strong power forward had a great month. He continued it in Cali with great passing and scoring. He drives and kicks it and will find cutters and anyone open off of double teams. He has a tough spin move in the paint and can go right or left in the post. The lefty can step out and hit the three with range and score with hook shots.
