<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> [player_tooltip player_id='1188620' first='Shareef' last='Jackson'], the No. 4 rated prospect in our Class of 2025 rankings, just announced via his social media accounts that he has given his verbal commitment to the Lafayette College. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jackson chose Lafayette from his final list of colleges which also included Yale, Princeton, Loyola, Bucknell and UC San Diego.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On top of being our No. 4 ranked 2025 player, the 6'8” Jackson is considered a Top 100 prospect nationally for the 2025 graduate year. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>During his junior season at Roman Catholic, Jackson averaged 17.5 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. He helped lead Roman capture the 2023-24 Philadelphia Catholic League title. At the conclusion of the 2023-24 season, Jackson garnered 1st Team All-PCL, 1st Team All-Philly Area and 1st Team 6A All-State selections.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In 2022-2023, Jackson pushed Roman Catholic to the 6A state championship game where the Cahillites fell to Reading.
