This is a really fun tournament, with tons of under-the-radar players showcasing their talents. Offensively, he handles pressure incredibly well and can get into the paint at will; he's quick and shifty with the ball in his hands. Defensively, he can increase the pace of the game by pressing full-court and turning the offense over. He's an above-the-rim athlete with excellent body control and finishing ability at the hoop with both hands. He also showed a fairly advanced post-up game that should only continue to improve as his body fills out, and a very workable outside shot. Despite getting hounded for 94 feet, Malek was able to fend off the defense and control the ball all game, oftentimes getting into the paint and dishing off for assists or finishing at the rim with contact. His change-of-pace dribble moves are tough to stop. The junior is still filling out physically but plays well above the rim on both ends. His motor and leaping ability allow him to control the paint and finish high-flying dunks, but the rest of his offensive game is still coming along. He's strong and tough on the ball, and when he gets in the paint he can make every read in the book. For his size and strength, he has a really excellent handle and can get to his spots and elevate from the mid-range. He controlled the offense for Hamilton Elite and was able to set up his teammates while also finding scoring opportunities for himself. Granger was also one of the best on-ball defenders I saw today.
