2024 @PrepHoopsTN Combine Evaluations: Part V
A June Sunday always ushers in the @PrepHoopsTN Combine. Ordinarily the final Sunday suffices, but this year we tipped June 16th with an insanely talented coaching staff. The gym hosted high energy. Read about several of the campers with their evaluations from the day. All measurements/times are listed in the linked article.

sprinted to a Top 5 time in the 3/4-court sprint with a 3.17 second sprint. Very, very fast. Combine coaches unanimously voted him into the All-Star Game. They liked his ability to attack the lane with the dribble.
Check his times in the sprint and agility drills.

Carson Burgs | PG | Homeschooled | 2026
How did he measure against the competition?
- Class of 2026
- 5'10" PG
- Hand span -- 10.0"
- Hand height -- 9.0"
- PrepHoopsTN Combine All-Star
- Camp Ranking -- #8
- State Ranking -- Top 150
Elite quickness. Insane. Change of direction is exceptional. One of the best ball-handlers to attend. Burgs was able to get to almost any point of the floor that he wanted. Did not take or make many outside shots on the day. On-ball defense was impressive. He showed off plus body control. He just a smidgeon shorter than the prototypical college guard, but he is not one to be physically bullied. At 5-foot-10 he is tall enough to succeed at the next level should he keep his trajectory.

| PF | Jackson County | 2026

How did he measure against the competition?
- Class of 2026
- 6'4" PF/SF
- 3/4-court sprint -- 3.94, 3.75
- PrepHoopsTN Combine All-Star
- Camp Ranking -- #12
- State Ranking -- Top 60
Lateral quickness needs to get better. A skilled player. Extremely productive. Elite finisher around the basket. Will deserves strong consideration for Preseason District MVP both this year and next. He will have a modest shot at Mr. Basketball candidacy based on his incredibly consistent productivity.
The only worry is, 'Can Will play college wing?' His quickness will be the lone limiting factor because Will is a hard worker, extremely skilled, exceptionally amiable. There are just so few 6'4" bigs populating college hoops.
Working for him, suggesting he could get a significant college bball role are all of the intangibles mentioned above and his incredible wingspan. That helps him play taller than his height.
Check his speed and measurements below.
