This weekend a lot of teams have left the state and are not only playing for a chance to get seen by college coaches but they are also playing for a major circuit championship. The [program_tooltip program_id='2110367' first='Utah' last='Prospects'] 3SSB team will head back to South Carolina to defend their 17U National Championship as last year they were a Top 3 team in the country regardless of circuit. [program_tooltip program_id='2091934' first='Utah' last='Gold'] is back and will send a few teams as well to South Carolinas as they have qualified to play in the 3SSB Bracket. [program_tooltip program_id='2214029' first='Utah' last='Valley Prime'] a first year program has also made the 3SSB Tournament which is very impressive and they will also be joined by UBC. [program_tooltip program_id='2271483' first='Team' last='Utah'] is putting togetehr a really impressive run and we have a few players out there playing with Mountain Stars as well. There is a lot of talent right now in Utah and it is only going to continue to rise.

Players to Watch 17U

Alozie has been a poster child on the circuit as he is looking to body anyone in his way as he is among the best rim attacking guards in the country. He is playing 17U and he has picked up interest from so many schools across the country and his offers continue to pile up.

[program_tooltip program_id='2271483' first='Team' last='Utah'] is loaded with attacking guards and play makers but Duft is the player getting them into their offense and he is playing very well. He is a player that gets better with time and he could be a solid PG that can come in and run an offense and the kid is tough as nails and defends.

Su'a is going to be a much needed piece in this run that UVP will need to go on. Having multiple players that are capable of handling the ball is crucial and Su'a can provide that as he has a big time motor and his speed and attacking ability will allow his team to break pressure on the ball but also it will allow him tofind gaps and get paint touches to help create for others.

Gballou is becoming that kid and that name that everyone is hearing about. With the emergence of so many stretch bigs that are beyond 6'9 that can shoot Gballou is an interesting prospect as he can be a back to the basket monster. That is something that will allow next level teams to bring him on if they have another big that can stretch the floor. He has picked up some solid offers and it will only go up from there as July could be a big month for him as he solidifies who he is and what he can bring to the next level.

Really want to see this kids recruiting go up. He might be a big time get at the D2 level as he is a servicable big that can be a PF, but he can also step outside and shoot. Finding kids with size and a deep bag and tools is important. He is a player that you need to watch.

Size and shooting ability is what you will get from this kid. He is among one of the best shooters on the Puma Circuit. He is a player that should be getting some LM looks for sure.

Really have enjoyed watching Peery and his game transform. He has found a niche and he is a player you can run your offense through. He can be a player that you put at the high post to make reads as a wing that can also serve as a SF. he can shoot but he is a ball mover and when he does shoot it is a high quality shot. He has been attacking teh rim a lot better and he is out there hunting for rebounds. Really like him as a solid NWAC player.

Silas is an up and coming player that could easily elevate his game with some solid play in July. He needs to show that he can play at a high level and that he is a capable CG that can use his skills and show that they can translate to the next level. He is a p layer we look forward to watching in July.
