Which prospects impressed on Saturday afternoon at the Prep Hoops Next Summer Slam?

[player_tooltip player_id='2423093' first='Evan' last='Luchetti'] -- SG -- [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy']

Luchetti's dominance is subtle but clear. The shooting guard isn't going to take over games with big plays of flashy athleticism. Luchetti's victory on the court is much more calculated and silent. Taking the approach of a silent killer, Luchetti scores with fundamentals. He uses to glass well, has a great handle, and can pretty much get to his spot whenever he pleases. His skill as a scorer is truly unmatched. Luchetti was one of the best scorers in the gym on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='2439571' first='Weston' last='Kraft'] -- PG -- ND Prospects

To see such a young player so skilled as a passer is a joy to watch. This is the case with ND Prospects' Kraft. The point guard possesses excellent court vision and passing touch. I love how Kraft has no problem passing first and getting his teammates involved.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447403' first='Brody' last='Degner'] -- PF -- ND Prospects

In basketball, regardless of the level, rebounding and interior scoring are critically important. Degner of ND Prospects brings both. The 6-foot-4 power forward dominated the glass and paint in his team's victory on Saturday. Degner set great screens and came up with timely buckets. I was very impressed with the effort and energy that he played with.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344662' first='Chase' last='Johnson']-- PG -- [program_tooltip program_id='2135832' first='Next' last='Level Basketball Academy']

"Oh yeah you gotta get him," said a coach as I approached Johnson after a game to ask him for a top performer picture. The point guard's excellent play was noticed by many on Saturday. His passing is tremendous and valuable. He sets teammates up for success. As a ballhandler, Johnson is smart and skilled. As Johnson grows as a player, he is only going to improve vastly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375716' first='Josh' last='Link'] -- SG -- ND Prospects

Link is intensity personified on the court. After every big play, the shooting guard could be seen hyping up his teammates in the most aggressive way possible. In a close win for his team on Saturday, Link hit several timely triples. The SG's play was a huge reason why his team was able to earn the victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='2508468' first='Ben' last='Wittnebel'] -- G -- [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy']

Wittnebel has already grabbed some headlines this spring and early summer. His great play continued on Saturday. Although Wittnebel is young and in the early stages of his development, his scoring skill is already very polished. He has a tight handle and effective outside jumper. I'm looking forward to watching Wittnebel improve over the years.
